I'd say if you can go into the split no more than 6 behind you have a chance of avoiding 12th, but slim one. That said, from experience as a Dundee fan it's easier said than done to bridge what looks like a smallish gap.

Motherwell and Hibs only 1 and 2 points ahead of St J so they won't be comfortable either albeit both have a game in hand over them. It's going to get pretty tight if County win one of those games in hand i.e. v Hibs. For some reason I'm discounting Aberdeen who I expect to pick up enough points to leave them clear and still fighting for top 6.

To add some comfort, the 2 games in hand County have are carrying a fair bit of weight closing that 5-point gap. To date 5 points is 25%+ of County's points total. Assuming neither you nor they have a big turnaround in fortunes, I expect you'll be fine.

Aye, I understand that on paper fixtures will even out over the period but I was talking about how pressure can affect things i.e. let's assume you both lose the next 2 (reasonable assumption) then County win v Livvi and you lost to Dons thus putting more pressure on you and maybe giving them a wee bit of confidence for the following games - County have 2 games that are potential points to your 1.

Then we'd have 2 x 12am's! Actually, I agree to some extent as there is no logic as to why 12am follows 11pm and not 11am but the same would apply if we swapped them around. That's why we should all stick to midnight/midday or noon.
