    See also: roundabouts in Spain.

It's the closest you can feel to being a Formula 1 driver - commit to the move, or die

Roundabouts (circles) here in the Philippines. Rule is clear i.e. same as in the UK so vehicles on them have priority but 75% of drivers have decided to ignore this which means every one is an accident waiting to happen.

ETA - I just found this little gem which perhaps explains the above confusion as it starts off saying one thing and then suggesting the opposite!

Who has priority in roundabout Philippines?
    Rotonda courtesies
That means drivers about to enter the circular junction must yield to those who are currently on it. Of course, that doesn't mean drivers on the roundabout should not give way to those about to merge; they must still let other motorists enter, more so if they are far ahead.

So there is competition for players and managers if they leave a football club for another under contract but why are all these directors of football and footballing operations not able to move freely between clubs?

Players and managers are not free to move between clubs if under contract.  If you mean why are clubs more willing to negotiate to let players and managers break the contract compared to directors of football/football operations - maybe the latter have more access to commercially sensitive information etc?

My son was looking for a pair of brown shoes so we took a look in my shoe cabinet.  There were a half-dozen pairs of so that were from the early 2000's.  He's now the new owner of a pair of brown ankle boots from Next - the price tag was still on them b.t.w £49.something.

Update - the sole fell off one of the shoes when he was out last night. 🤣

Both teams hitting form at the right time of the season, this one will be a lot harder fought than other games this season but I still expect a Celtic win unfortunately.

These games are free hits for us. I'd like us to start with a formation and line up that similar to the Rangers game but I think we may go back to a 3-5-2. Rangers punted it long constantly so there was no need to congest the midfield where I think we need to do that in this game.

Tiffoney and Bakayoko up front as normal.

Given how tight it's likely to be for 5th it may be a free hit points-wise (although I'm not so sure this time) buy we need to avoid a heavy defeat to help that -5 GD over St M.

    I meant the reason…

There is no clear reason, apparently, but...

For many years in the Middle Ages, people believed that when you sneezed, your spirit left your body for a second. So, the thought went, to say "bless you" could bring you back to life and also keep evil spirits from entering you in the instant or two that you were believed to have been gone.

During the bubonic plague saying "God bless you" offered a desperate prayer for health and protection against the deadly disease. Pope Gregory is said to have encouraged people to embrace these blessings during that doom-filled era.

I used to say that too but Mrs Mathematics argues that it’s because, during the plague, a sneeze would herald that you were on your way out and so folk would have sympathy and bless you.

I read on here why we say "Bless You" so there's every chance she's right!

just watched the highlights there and the refs/var will just not give any team a penalty against one of the bigot brothers if the game is in the balance...ours v sevco on wed and yours today just ignored(foul before it my arse)...its fucking pathetic.

It's not even the individual decisions but knowing they'd be given at the other end of the park.

With St Mirren playing Celtic away in the last match we only need to keep the gap as it is as a minimum to be in with a shout against Killie at home. All to play for

I'll be disappointed if we're not all square going into that final game, maybe just a point behind. Better still, with our GD within a goal, maybe 2 of St Mirren's.

Squeaky bum 0-0 at Dens and 2 or 3 zip to Celtic sounds smashing!

    Thank You.
