6.30am flight to Ibiza on a Saturday morning where half the passengers seem to have pulled an all nighter. Bedlam. The gf I was with at the time was mortified that they had armed police at Glasgow airport shepherding us ON to the plane.

Aye. It’s bad enough a fight kicking off in a busy pub but one two rows in front of you in a pressurised metal cylinder 35,000ft up and suddenly everything gets very claustrophobic. It’s not fun.

I may be misremembering but was there not all sorts of disquiet about whether Naismith was up to the job in the early part of the season? And now he’s on some streak. What’s changed?

Navalny’s bruised body has seemingly now been found. The Russians say the head bruises are consistent with him having fallen over after suffering a seizure and the chest bruises with the CPR administered to try and resuscitate him. There’s a whole other story about how confirmed corroborated reports of his death all emerged in very short order thereafter (like 15 minutes after). Almost like they knew he’d be having a seizure and everything was in place…

I know our own fans give themselves ample rope to hang themselves with on this singing of offensive and unacceptable songs but if this is the predominant - actually so far seemingly the only - train of thought from the St Johnstone boys on Sunday’s game then it just will not go away. Hmmm. A two week hiatus to bump and on Valentines Day too… I have posted on here before about Mrs a-p’s inability to work a bread bin. I’m not a big bread eater but for my elevenses today I had a notion for a slice of toast. No loaf on top of the bin (where it usually resides) so I made the mistake of looking inside.

Keep us posted please. We’ve been debating the point about getting another lab but with the big chap being very well behaved not digging the garden and toileting off site we’re fearful of it all going to shite (which, I know, is of course the whole damn point). Be interested to hear your real world experience of bringing a pup on board.
