  1. Uppers

    One to know one, eh?
  2. Uppers

http://The announcement was about the good game, not the result, and while the home players were disappointed about not getting the win they deserved, they had every right to be pleased ,having come back from a two goal deficit against a team that hadn't lost a point so far in the league!! Oh, and what's the " oops" for? filled yer nappy?
  3. Uppers

Great game today at Moffat, Bonnyton started the better without really threatening and only went ahead with a clearly offside goal and then added a second well worked effort before the break.Well done to our management for a wee tweek at the break as Uppers dominated the second half and deservedly equalised , which then resulted in the visitors resorting to trying to kick their opponents off the park! Some shocking reffing denied Uppers a stone wall pen and straight red for an away defender ! And before you reply, even yer management said you were fortunate to get a point! although. nae doot yous were minus half a team!!!
  4. Tomorrow’s predictions/Game to watch

Aye, Bonnyton possibly deserved to win today's game ,but Uppers contributed to their own devis by gifting them a 3 goal lead with some awful defending, before then absolutely battering them for fully 25 minutes with only one goal to show for for their total, dominance, before succumbing to a superb individual effort from a sub who has clearly played at a far higher level than this league. As is normal with most teams who come to Moffat , the visitor's were short of first team players!!! Jeesoo ,we hear it almost every game!!! Give it a break eh!!

  6. Uppers pitch

Well, first time on this site, and this will be the last, I've no intention debating subjects with people who reply in the manner of these two smart arses, sound like children,,, anyway bye bye ,and I hope you enjoy your kindergarden conversations in the future!!
  7. Uppers pitch

Seems there is a bit of discontent about the pitch at Moffat, ie ,games being postponed due to waterlogged surface, can the complainants not get it into their small minds that no one can control the weather? Moffat sits at the head of three valleys ,surrounded by hills, so is bound to to get adverse weather. The company that owns the pitches have been trying their utmost to get the games on ,so no blame there, and Uppers can only go along with their decision ,so it is hardly their fault ,it must be so frustrating for the club that they cannot get games played. I believe that the club have been actively trying to secure a permanent playing area, but a lack of council money in that area means they have no option but to continue with the school pitch.
