    I'm not.

His record since taking over P 47  W27  L12  D8 a strike rate of 57.44% make your own judgement

He worked well with AMcG as the good cop and from what I was told his coaching methods were well received by the players but our style of football is not pleasing a lot of our supporters and his resignation IMO was inevitable.

To take over a struggling team and leave with the kind of record is more than decent. Was unlucky with the cup final fiasco as well.

Well, I’m fcuking ragin’ after that today. We’ve no leadership on the park or off the park at both coaching and committee level. If Kerrigan is not sacked then he should be man enough to resign. His player recruitment, apart from Syme, Morgan and McKenzie has been abysmal. All the other players he has brought in have not been good enough – Gray, Prentice, Watt, McMullen, McDonald, Comrie, Marshall and Aldin. I’ll exclude Sweeney and Tiwi from that list, but if he thinks that 18 year old boys are the answer to our lack of fire power up front then he’s coaching at the wrong level.

Let’s face it, Kerrigan should never have been appointed in the first place. It was the easy option for the committee but it appears to be laziness on their part not to invite applications for the post. However since the appointment there has been numerous occasions when he should have been sacked.

    •    10 February 2018, losing 4-1 away to a ten man Broughty Ferry
    •    His tactics in the replay at Hurlford after going one goal up
    •    Losing the last three league games of the 2017/18 season
    •    Failure to recruit a goal scorer – I know they are hard to come by but Kerrigan has come nowhere near getting someone who might be what we need
    •    Putting Hunter up front near the end of the game against Jeanfield – it was desperation not tactics
    •    Narrowing the pitch at Newtown
    •    Letting an eight man Crossgates score against us and hanging on at the end. This to me was the worst of the sacking offences.
    •    Today
    •    The overall disciplinary record this season which has been shocking

I’ll not include the first half performance at home to Tynecastle or the game at Sauchie as I wasn’t there.

There are more. See the comments above about team selection and set up and tactics. He is quite clearly out of his depth. He has taken Bo’ness backwards

Felt compelled to look in and saw this post, are you having a Laugh pal ! Joke of a post and an attitude that we ill see you lose a one of the best managers going about.

What an absolute embarrassment once again .
Can remember way back when we got flung out before a League Cup Final , then of course the Scottish debacle.
All that effort from the players getting to the final and all the money spent by supporters going to games all for nothing .
    Heads must roll .
EOSFL had no choice so fair play to them .
Never easy being a BU fan .

Heard of this over the weekend and felt compelled to post. Having looked in from time to time i am utterly surprised none of you are blaming Kegs.

Horrible situation and for what it is worth i would say replay the game. Just to note Kegs left us because of the unprofessional  set up of our committee. Watch this space !!!

Now I know that both Wright and McKenzie were absent today - both at weddings - why wasn't Rintoul given a chance. Keast was then injured taking the penalty and had to go off- why wasn't Snowdon given the chance to atone for his last penalty miss? - and we replace him with a defensive midfielder and still no Rintoul. He then substitutes Prentice for Watt - who IMO did not look fit - still no Rintoul. Now I don't know if Jacobs had taken a knock but to substitute him for Gray was IMO a poor move as the guy is not fit.

Rintoul has bags of energy and would have been an ideal target for an out ball but no he brings on two unfit players in Watt and Gray. If we were 4 or 5 up yes but hanging on 2-1 it was madness.

My MOTM split between Gemmell and Morgan. As Sheep says 3 pts and I agree but the man management in that game was terrible.

    Hunter6 where are you?

Lol, still having a wee peak from time to time but have enough problems at Arthurlie to worry about you guys. Having said that it looks from afar that there are a few of yous just waiting for Stevie to fail . I could understand it if you guys have been successful recently but you haven't. I saw yous last season v Hurlford and thought you were robbed that day. Spoke to a few fans and they seemed happy with what Kegs was doing. Get behind your team for goodness sake, you are actually complaining about an away win. Said what i think and wont be looking in anymore. All the best.

Well as supporters we have moaned about who we have recruited this season. Last nights starting 11 contained one new player - Morgan -  plus the return of Donnelly. Main criticism was no strikers signed - still need one - fitness level looked poor.

Well, since the first game overall performance has improved as showed last night the players kept it going to the end plus we looked better organised.

Why? Possibly assistant coach Hogg IMO.

Quite amusing keeping tabs on this forum, seems like you guys enjoy a moan no matter what. Did Kegs maybe free you at some point lol!!  You and is it Barrystown are comedy gold.

On 10 February 2018 after the drubbing at Broughty I posted in the 2017/18 thread that I did not think Kerrigan was the correct man for the manager/coach position. I still stand by this comment. The display against Jeanfield was worse than Broughty. Other posters in the last few days have highlighted the areas of dissatisfaction and weakness so I don't need to reiterate them. I'll  just point out his record in competitive games since his first game against Camelon at home on 13 January 2018 : Played 23, Won 11, Drawn 4, Lost 8, a win record of 48%. Quite frankly that's not good enough for Bo'ness United. In my opinion it's time for him to go. The committee should have the balls to sack him before any more damage is done.

Strange post with a record like that from a team that was fighting relegation. I've said before send him back to Dunterlie. Be careful what you wish for, just look at us now!!

  7. Not what wanted to here but they've been building under Tony McInally for a few year now. Unlike us.. I'm sure you's will be an improved outfit this season .. managed to see your highlights and it looked like you had if not the same maybe more chance. Cant stand that mob lol
