I dont care what the rest of the livi fans are saying bout Ayr and Peterhead,we will struggle against both,they are no mugs with very good players,go into a game with the attitude we're gonna tou this crowd then we'll end up with egg all over faces.It's gonna take hard graft and no shortage of skill to get through the playoffs,can this group of livi players do that? For that matter can Hopkin inspire them to do so??

Feel livi will get by Stranraer,but Ayr and Peterhead are a different proposition, Our record at Somerset against Ayr is poor and Peterhead have ran the Pars relatively close this season,they're a good side.

A heard that oor goalie was playing in midfield from way up in Turriff today,fair play to him for doing a job out of goals too,hopefully nobody got injured in the big game today.Looks like it's gonna be Stranraer in the first play off game,they're 5 pts in front with only 2 games to go.

If anything I hope supporters of other clubs like yourself can see in these debates on here that there's passion aplenty for LFC. Livi fans have been accused in the past of being a bit plastic etc but those days are long gone. West Lothian can have a senior club no problem,on the level of support,lower championship/upper league 1,but LFC's biggest problem is the fact it's constantly been run by buffoon after buffoon who constantly overstretch the club financially,it's a crying shame. This so called friendly tommorow is another example of the complete buffoonery at the top!!

You've not read it wrong Sonstream!! Unbelievably LFC have committed to playing the GS Livi Supporters team this weekend and have said they will play some first team regulars!! Surely playing a local junior side or a lowland league side who haven't a game this weekend would have been better to give themselves a better test/run out OR no game at all and a wee break.

Fair point Afro,would be best first an foremost to advertise it on the livi room site. The lions den as we all know is the mouthpiece for the LLSC and GS,so probably best to stick with the livi room first and foremost before going elsewhere.

Nope,I'd rather drink petrol and pee on a fire!! Nope I will be in Turriff watching them take on newly crowned SHFL champs Cove,as highland fitba is a big love of mines particuarly Deveronvale,but I do intend to be at the Raith game and playoff matches.Do agree AMC,both groups seem to be in a power struggle to see who's top men when in actual fact they should be using their collective strength for the better of the club. Unfortunately I feel it's went to far now,the level of suspicion and distrust is frightening one lot won't even speak to the other and vice versa. It's actually like two sets of fans who support different sides standing in the same area,it's that bad.

It wasn't Gnaw who called the LLSC a clique afro it was me and I stand by it,granted not all who travel with them are bad people,I know some of them personally,i'm aiming the comments at those who run it. This civil war between fans is actually more entertaining than what's happening on the park right now. I've seen it particularly at away games,one lot eyeing the other up,the look of disdain on the llsc/gs faces when the other lot start singing,it's pure comic gold!! LFC is not for one set of supporters who believe you should act and sing in a certain way following the club,it is for all who love the club in whatever way they want to.

Well well well,some on here not liking the thought of an alternative supporters club to the LLSC,no surprise there then,we canny have the clique getting upset now can we!! I know the DBM run a bus for the odd away game now and again but very rarely. What's the new supporters club gonna be called?

Sonstream your a class act ma man,a very good post. Most teams would be pleased with a lot of the livi players in their squad that's fir sure.The problem is the buffoon coaching them,absolutely clueless. Livi can stay up via the playoffs as their squad is far better than Blue Toons,Ayr,Stranraer or Albion R but two questions must be answered,one... Do livi want to struggle on in the championship for another season,it ain't gonna get any easier with United and Dunfermline in the mix, two....Hopkin is a liability,he has no tactical nous,livi may have the players to stay up but the captain of the ship is clueless!!

Livi won't be in the championship next season,league 1 fitba and part time fitba beckons. Might be the best thing to happen to livi for years,go down,re-group,have some or most of the squad part time. All most livi fans should be interested in is a club they can follow through thick and thin not one consistently living close to the edge.

It's hardly crime of the century though is it!! There are far more pressing things going on at LFC as well rather than the constant CIVIL WAR between 2 sections of the support

That's an individuals choice and basic human right,just like it's yours not too drink before the football,you need a thicker skin livithegreat,it might help.

This GS carry on is getting out of control!! You would think they were the big attraction and not the LFC first team,it's getting absolutely embarrassing!!

Correct the divide is huge and you and I prove it. I still cringe everytime when I think of an old livi song that USED to be sung..."we're the best behaved supporters in the land" what a fookin embarrassment that song was,thank god its gone now,you need to drop the we're holier than thou crap ltg because livi fans quite clearly now aren't.Every Scottish sides away support is always more vocal,more raucous thats the way it's always been,the lads see a good away day coming up,they say hell yeah that'll be a good day out,they plan for it and when the day comes they hop on the bus or train and have a right good day out,win or lose. As with every support your gonna get a couple of village idiots who can't handle their swally but that comes with the territory at an away day fitba style.

And there it is in a nutshell!! If the lads want to have a drink pre match then let them,thousands do so all over Scotland,every club large or small have their ladz element.It's a part of football culture in this country.The Dumbarton stewards have probably seen far worse when sevco and hibs have been in town,so to point a finger at them is wrong,they probably thought it was all reasonably mild.The other side of the livi support they see it as disgraceful or these lads are trying to steal their thunder,it's those same lads that are the only livi fans that sing and add any atmosphere to a livi game,home or away!! The way I see it,one side just doesn't get the other and so it shall stay that way.

Well said Moonster!! It's obvious livithegreat is in one of the afore mentioned cliques. Football is about passion,good times and bad but to some in the livi support it's their way or no way!! Admit it ltg,the support is completely split,there's a them against us struggle going on and it's only gonna get worse!!
