    We played much more down the middle, and direct towards goal. Through the season so far it had been about getting it wide to get it back down the middle. Cutting out hoof ball also added to the striking threat.

    Sad to hear Omar is hanging up the boots. Been an understated but very solid player for us and has a nice batch of silver wear to tell the family about His folks have been regulars home and away too and will be missed.

    You could do a pretty cool kit with a ghosting in of an iconic Arbroath image such as the Abbey. My son and a mate made some mock ups a couple of years ago and it looked neat. Would have tied in with the 700 year anniversary stuff too.

    I think many (bigger) clubs will thin out squads and be leaner next season. They will have to be. Our finances may not be as bad as some, due to being part time, so there may be bargains in terms of good value players out there for the taking.
