  1. Join the West Region. Everything's rosy over here.
  2. There you go again with the 'claims' thing. I'm claiming nothing unlike yourself. You're the one that seems to have insider knowledge given your post regarding PWG I clearly posted - 'Here's what I reckon is on the cards'. I'm happy to wait and see what, if anything comes out tonight.
  3. I'm not 'claiming' anything. I'm offering my opinion. An opinion that you disagreed with, so much so, that you labelled me as insane. You, meanwhile, hold on to the belief that it 'can't happen' because it doesn't fit with your dream of a new WoSL. But, as I 'claimed' earlier, I shall look forward to the revelations from tonight's meeting. If I'm wrong, I'll apologise and I shall never question your 'claims' again.
  4. the SOSL covers D&G the west region doesnt (there are two outliers in Bonnyton & Kello). Having the EOS & ERJFA is much different as there is clear geographical encroaching by something like 20 clubs. and the problem is?
  5. I doubt very much if the SFA gives a damn about 2 feeder leagues in the East. There will effectively be 2 feeders in the west if you consider that the SoSL comes into it. I don't get why everyone is so scared of the East Region feeder. Seemingly, those clubs that are left in it won't get anywhere near the LL.
  6. Because he's been desperately trying to instigate a breakaway in the West by scaremongering teams into believing that there will be no entry for the juniors. He's also scared that this will also signal to the East Region that they will also be in at tier 6. Which in turn may lead to some of those that left last year having a re-think about their own situation.
  7. I'm fair looking forward to this thread later tonight or early tomorrow after the news comes filtering out of tonight's meeting of the West Region clubs at Hampden. Fully expecting Burnieman to go into melt-down after all his scaremongering and anti-junior shit-stirring comes back and smacks him right in his arse. Here's what I reckon is on the cards for tonight - Clubs informed that they are now part of the SFA Pyramid and will be in at level 6 - Premiership, Level 7 - Championship, Level 8 - League 1 and Level 9 - League 2. No need for any more talk of a WoSL, SFA won't sanction it. Clubs that get a licence and win the Premiership will enter play-offs for promotion into LL. Clydebank will stay put because the route back to the 'Senior Leagues' has now been provided and this satisfies their AGM decision. League reconstruction will be discussed to allow for an early finish of the Premiership leaders for the purposes of the play-offs. Discipline procedures will be aligned with the SFA.
  8. You don't have an answer, so at least we now know where you're coming from. You're here for a noise up. Seems to have worked. But, I thought I had answered your question, perhaps it's just that you chose to ignore it. (No surprise there.) Or have I got near to hitting the nail on the head?
  9. Hmm, more name-calling. Ah, well. Not unexpected. Main benefit is that clubs are allowed to stay within whatever association that they wish to be in, whilst still being part of the pyramid system you so desperately wish all teams to be part of. I suspect this has less to do with 2 east competing leagues and more to do with the fact that the West will only have one and you're upset that the WRSJFA clubs did not follow last season's pied piper into the EOSL.
  10. I have a different viewpoint to you, therefore I am to be classed as insane. Thanks for the clarity. I should have grasped long ago that it's to be Burnie_man's way or no way.
  11. I think this just proves my point. 1. Scared you will lose out in a 4 way play-off, and would rather take your chances in a 3 way play-off. 2. Scared there might be another team blocking your route. 3. Scared you'll lose players to a separate association? Strange one that. 4. Scared you'll lose sponsors? That's down to your association surely? 5. Scared you'll lose fans? Surely casual fans will go to whatever game attracts their interest. 6. What attention? Do you really think any non league football gets proper attention? 7. Match officials will be appointed to games regardless of what banner the game comes under.
  12. Because artificial barriers should be removed, not maintained or indeed, increased. Particularly when theres two leagues covering the same area. It's insane. ERSJFA covers the same area that they have covered for many, many years. Meanwhile the EOSL are happy to take teams from anywhere south of the Tay to the English Border as long as it satisfies their own agenda. Why are you not objecting to the WRSJFA coming at the same level if they also are within 'your area'? Is it because you haven't yet got the cream of the west, and need them in your Utopian vision of what's best for Scottish football? You no longer want the ERSJFA because you've got what you want from them and don't want them to have any chance of upsetting your applecart. Inclusion of the east juniors removes your perceived barriers and leaves it open to all, especially as they will need to conform to whatever criteria is laid down for inclusion. Again, what are you scared of?
  13. What is the EOSL scared of? According to what's been said they've already got the cream of the Juniors in their set-up. What's left in the ERSJFA surely won't trouble them in the play-offs.
  14. The first thing that needs to be binned is Scottish Junior Cup replays.
  15. Aye, and look at them now. Shiting themselves at the thought of the Juniors, especially the West Region, coming in and upsetting their gravy train, that they're trying to promote the idea of a LL2. Thereby preserving their status as a senior league and their own continuation in that league.
  16. All that needs to happen is for the former members of the ERSJFA to rejoin the Juniors and the EOSFL will end up back on the edge of the abyss they were staring into before the defectors saved them from extinction. The feed into the LL will then be a true Pyramid of East and West.
  17. At least yer idle because of a football match and not a wee cycle race.
  18. Finally figured all this out. The East Region already have pyramids and they are also populated by sheep.
  19. It isn't being floated as a serious idea, he's merely paying lip service to the 'Summer Fitba Brigade'. He knows fine well it will not come about. There are far too many problems that have no solution surrounding the Summer Fitba question. It is time however that he started a proper full on consultation regarding the Scottish Junior Cup. Especially with regards to replays, start dates, winter months with no ties etc.
