  1. The Tale of a Team You've Never Heard of, from a Village You Can Never Visit

This episode of Scotland takes you to a windswept hill overlooking Patna in East Ayrshire. It is 1900. There, on the surprisingly well-kept surface of Primrose Park, Burnfoothill Primrose are lining up to take on Benwhat Heatherbell for the first time since a fight broke out in the Ayrshire Junior Cup Final at Rugby Park last season.

It's about pride, it's about passion, it's about the pits and the people.

Hope you enjoy it! The trailer is below.

You can listen to the full episode here: https://link.chtbl.com/the-hill

  2. Episode 6 is here!

Spartans keep up the pace as Welfare improve, Stirling Uni take home the bragging rights from the University Derby, BSC Glasgow beat Civil Service Strollers in controversial circumstances and a strangely impassioned plea to go and see Vale of Leithen. There's all that AND MORE in this week's Catchup. Don't miss out on it.

It was an enjoyable listen and have worthwhile endeavour. Looking forward to the next one. In this digital age apart from game day for fans footy can be a bit 1 dimensional with just typing and reading social media all week so this makes it more human again.

Are you planning to add any interviews from around the teams ? It's always interesting to hear from the those  at the heart of their club what is happening or how they go about the running of their club. Just a thought

We're looking into it. There's scope for it to take on a number of different forms if it's popular so I'm keen to keep every option open!

Really enjoyed this, hopefully it becomes a regular thing. I like the highlight clips, but it might also be worth putting it up in podcast format rather than just on YT?

Working on it Alan! Just need to get it on iTunes now.

  5. Anyone else read the bit in bold as it's no my fault it the defences fault?

To answer that Josh, you may be creating chances but you are certainly not scoring them. In 10 years time you won't be remembered fondly as Josh Magennis, the man who created lots of chances, just another useless diddy that couldn't score for us.

I thought that myself. Might even be a wee dig at Barbour who he really doesn't seem to get on with judging by the way they were giving out to one another at the weekend.

  6. Magennis: "But even though we got beat by the same score at the weekend by Ross County, it was more of a mixed bag. We just got beat by a better team. I don't think any of us failed to show up. We just got beat by a better team. We created a few chances but still looked vulnerable in defence. It was better but still the same result. A loss is still a loss whether you concede one goal or four."

I'd have loved to have been at whatever game Josh was at.
