To be fair it looks like the Record are just reporting the hearsay about Ian Black playing in the Dev game (which he apparently isn't) without verifying. Doesn't mean he won't end up signing for us (would be the turd icing on the giant crap cake), but I wouldn't go by them.

I'm willing to give McHattie the benefit of the doubt given what an absolute disaster Stevie Smith has been. Please take those words and carve them into my forum epitaph when McHattie is solely responsible for us getting relegated.

Gary Locke's severance?

I know he's a bit suspect defensively, but he could be an improvement on Stevie Smith... doubt we'll go in for him instead of a centre back though.

Wouldn't be too sure about that. There's probably still enough budget to bring in Zaliukas.

I feel like - the way we're going - Locke would find a way to make them look terrible.

I thought that myself. Might even be a wee dig at Barbour who he really doesn't seem to get on with judging by the way they were giving out to one another at the weekend.
