  1. I am very surprised that Scot Gardiner and Co are trying to get Darren O'Dea when it's experience ww need in this situation but tbh I will be happy if it were indeed him that was appointed. I wonder if anyone has any ideas as to what the shortlist is as that was supposedly getting drawn up today . I imagine its: Darren O'Dea, Liam Fox, Dougie Imrie, Ian McCall, Callum Davidson and Thomas Courts.
  2. I wouldn't say no to him but it is a very risky appointment which our club are renowned for (we gave Brewster, Foran and Dudds their 1st managerial jobs) so it's possible but he'd probably need an experienced assistant. I am fairly certain it'll be Callum Davidson though.
  3. When is Billy Dudds going to get his finger out and sign a centre half because it's glaringly obvious that we are in desperate need of one! There is just over a fortnight left of the window and yet no sign of a centre half been imminent!
  4. I'm saying St J for automatic relegation and Loss County for relegation via play offs as they surely can't escape a second year in a row with the Dross they have at their club! Though I'd quite happily swap their coaching staff bar the racist Malky for our clown in the dugout!
  5. It's about time the support started to show the board what we think of Dudds by not attending games so that their forced to act because this is totally unacceptable how we've started the season and its only going to get worse until the c*** is GONE! As I keep saying, it's clear to us fans where we need to be strengthening so why the twat can't see we need centre halves desperately is worrying! The guy quite clearly has lost the dressing room because this squad ARE capable of producing ten times better than this!
  6. When will you get it into your thick head that some people work weekends, it's like your obsessed with me and @SandyCromarty ffs, just give ot a rest will you!!
  7. Oh shit, yes they did I forgot that probably because it was after the season ended.
  8. This one was a hard one to call but I put my vote for the Queens Park new boss ahead of Ian Murray and Jim Goodwin. Imho both James McPake (Pars) and Rhys McCabe are safe as I think both of these clubs would be happy to end anywhere between 6th and 8th (I truly believe both will avoid the bottom 2 so thank me Airdrie/Pars fans and to anyone doubting that: stuff you lol). Regarding Dundee Utd amd Jim Goodwin, you can probably put him under the same category as some on here are putting Billy Dodds, no way will their chairman sack a manager who only got a new deal before the season started and imho he seems to building a squad capable of winning promotion. Oh and finally on ICT, we just aren't a sacking club, the last manager to get sacked was Craig Brewster years ago amd even that was only due to fans demanding it at a game in a very strange way! I may not always back our manager and can become very vocal on it but I do commend the club for sticking with managers no matter how badly we're struggling. A lot of clubs could take note!
  9. Clearly a centre half has to be the priority and if Dudds and Gardiner can't see that then they are FAILING in their jobs but I totally agree with @micaley68, Dudds clearly can't manage so I fail to understand why our duds at boardroom can't see that when fans seen it WAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS LAST SEASON! I will say this though; I hope we see more of youngsters such as Bray if he's as good as certain fans are claiming here so I suppose that is one positive from this JOKE of a cup campaign!
  10. This next point I'm going to state just shows how shit our season was: AIRDRIE have just beaten Accies 1-0 yet we LOST THREE out of 4 times to a team ninety minutes away from relegation and possibly having to go part time!! I totally agree with you @PB1994, our style of play is just as bad as the manager and assistant that are employing that said tactics.
  11. I'm sorry but he CAN'T continue and if he does then we need to demand answers from our dud CEO Mr Gardiner because this season has been beyond unacceptable! Though it's not all his fault, the clown Gardiner himself is equally to blame and so are some of the dross on the park so I would say that whoever the manager is next season has a tough job on his hand though I'm hopeful we'll keep the vast majority of this squad and recruit competently and aim for the title or at the very least, 2nd next season. I'm getting very impatient now as 8 seasons in this league is abysmal!
  12. What surprises me is that no new contract offers have offered to either Billy Dodds (and the coaches if their also out of contract) or any of the players out of contract, it's a risky game waiting until the end of the season as they could easily be picked up on pre contracts. I also unfortunately see Deas off and fully expect players like Doran, Walsh and Samuels to be off but tbh an overhaul (though hopefully not drastically) may be good for the squad providing the additions are good players, we can use the league cup as games where the new additions get used to our play etc as I'd rather promotion (in fact I'm getting very impatient now!) than a good league cup campaign. And just to keep @sophia and Co happy, even I am struggling to find anything to complain at now hence not posting as much lol, in fact I'm quietly optimistic of sneaking into 4th and reaching the cup final so I advise you to jump aboard the optimism train @SandyCromarty ;).
  13. I only saw highlights from the last game before the international break, Steele played very well that night but it was the Crystal Palace youngster that got the plaudits that night probably because it was his first game for the club but I echo what's been said already, I wouldn't say no to the boy if he is willing to declare for us as we need as many GKs as possible that are playing in England and up against top quality players. I do think Craig Gordon will still be number 1 when he comes back as he hasn't really put a foot wrong and I'm sure Sir Steve trusts him but I do believe he may retire after the Euros (or this campaign if, God forbid, we fail to qualify) by which time Angus Gunn could well become our number 1 and perhaps Liam Kelly will have proved himself or got a move.
  14. I know I've said this on numerous occasions so keep your eyes closed @sophia as I'm sure you'll have some complaint as you seem to always do (you must be a joy to be around you moaning mini!) but, especially with finances as bad as they are, I really want a good number of our under 18s rewarded with professional contracts and possibly a shot in the first team! We have a good number of experienced players still contracted for next season going by that list on twitter so we would then have a mixture of youth and experience and hopefully a competent manager that could get the best out of that team! If that was indeed the case then I would be a lot happier even when we went on a poor run (as is possible with every team) and would lay off calls for change in manager because I would understand that these said youngsters would be passionate about the club so would give 100% to the jersey!
  15. This could go 2 ways for us both influenced by the grim news a couple of days ago (though our chairman thinks otherwise!). Either we play excellently and win and say that we used the news to fire themselves up to try and give us something to cheer after the doom and gloom from us when the news broke. Or We play absolutely s***e and lose then the players and management come out and say that the bad press and bad feeling from the supporters affected them. The other thing is, if we lose then calls for change in the dugout will grow louder and these fans won't give a damn about finances etc, they'll just want a change in fortunes that a new manager will bring. I may be one of these said fans that calls for change or I may realise that we'll have to wait until the summer so you'll have to wait until Saturday to find out which it'll be
  16. FFS when are you going to get this into that thick skull of yours dear, I AM NOT GOING TO STOOP TO YOUR LEVEL so just leave me alone!! You don't question anyone else so why pick on me, I've already told you MILLIONS OF TIMES why I have not been so fucking accept that reason bitch!
  17. I would go with Ryan Esson instead of Robbo and that would work for him too as he can continue to work for Sportsound. He could even become the permanent manager next season which I'd totally be OK with, maybe with new coaches as I believe Barry Wilson is as culpable as Dudds, I'm still not sure about Kellacher yet though, I think it could be harsh to ditch him.
  18. Well that suggests that he's on the brink imho so hopefully there is just some issues holding up the announcement such as who'd come in as replacements/caretaker or if the majority of the coaching staff such as Barry Wilson and Scott Kellacher will also be off. If the board had any sense then they'd act now especially if they saw the posts on Social media last night or if they saw the mass walk out on Saturday!! If there was indeed a board meeting today as rumoured on here, cto and social media then I'd doubt all that would have been discussed was the Jags game as that would be a waste of time (however long the meeting took), there was surely other issues on the agenda
  19. I suspect he'll be given Dundee and possibly Ayr games to save his job especially if fan unrest continues and all the comments on both Facebook and Twitter result post from last night suggests nearly EVERYONE of us have had enough of the dud, even his interviews are becoming a joke.
  20. Do you know what's laughable about the lack of communication is that our Chairman put up a post on either Facebook or Twitter to someone claiming that they aren't very good at communicating or responding to his calls or something!! Well I have news for you Mr Morrison, us fans can say the exact same about you and our board so maybe now you know how we feel!!!!! Anyway, let's see what tomorrow brings because Dudds thinks we have a chance just because it's away, well sir, we have lost to them away before so no reason why it can't happen tomorrow and hopefully that leads to change though with our incompetent board we'd probably need to lose 9-0 for that to happen! Ffs Craig Brewster and Richie Foran got sacked for a similar shit run of form!
  21. How the f**k is Dudds still in a job, any other club would have sacked him LONG AGO!!?
  22. No way, it's the league for me. I get that Cup runs are great especially seeing as we haven't had one since Robbo was in charge. For me, I am desperate to get back to the Premiership and am always optimistic at the start of the season because I believe we're capable and last Saturday proves that point! Hopefully we don't have to rebuild too much this summer then start strongly again and this time under a competent manager and I say that knowing that we are likely to see a change because there is no contract offer on the table for Billy yet, in fact it's exactly the same situation as with Gregor Townsend and most believe he's off after the world cup. Sorry @SandyCromartyI know you don't like me referencing Rugby but all I'm going to say is: Stuff you lol, get used to it, I'm leaning more towards Rugby than football just now though i WILL watch our game v Kilmarnock in my strip .
  23. I don't see why I should feel the need to reply to someone as clueless as you @sophiabut no and as I've said on numerous occasions (so get your bloody eyes tested) I've got a valid reason for not going and that is WORK and its a job I enjoy and tbh I wouldn't step foot in the stadium until a) we have a change of management so that will be next season and b) our football style changes, if i want to watch balls get lumped from one half of the field to the other with the occasional burst forward from an attack then I'd rather go to Murrayfield where the spectacle AND atmosphere will be ten times more than at TCS! Now I am NOT going to engage with that question again so leave me in peace and pick on someone else other than me and poor @SandyCromarty!
  24. I'd say either striker or right back as it could be a while until Sutherland and/or Samuels back plus we can't only rely on Carson at right back so we probably need cover in case of injury/suspension or loss of form from Carson. I totally agree with you regarding looking at signings for next season and certainly looking to get some players tied down on new deals to fend off suitors and to lessen our rebuild for next season.
