  1. In the grand scheme of things, it might be beneficial to lose this game.
  2. Campbell could at least pretend not to be a total walloper.
  3. Ray does not need any longer to prove to us he is not a very good manager. If there were just some signs of improvement on the park, there would be some argument to give him a bit longer. But, if anything, he has spent a lot of money to take us backwards. Ray appears to have one way of playing, and that has been sussed out, and Ray is lost as to how to change the team set-up. One definition of madness is to do the same thing time and time again and expect a different outcome, by this definition it appears that Ray is completely insane.
  4. '"I still feel 100 per cent positive on the whole thing" said Campbell as he mounted his unicorn'.
  5. Ray will be celebrating the beginning of another unbeaten run. What pish excuses will he come up with this week? "Listen, we knew this league would be hard." "Listen, there are no easy games." "Listen, it is disappointing, but it is another point away from home."
  6. That's why I would go 2-5-3 against the pub teams. It is quite difficult to play against these pub teams if you are not in the same league. What a genius you are
  7. I would go 2-3-5 every week against these pub teams.
  8. I enjoyed quite a few games against the old Airdrie team, there were a few Airdrie players I hated, Sammy Conn and John 'The Scab' Martin being just two. Can't get excited about playing against this new club. A comfortable 4-0 win after Campbell tears Ray a new ringpiece.
  9. No one likes to lose a game, but the blow can be softened by a good performance on the park. Playing well and being unlucky losers still fills you with hope, but Ray offers nothing at all. He has been handed a golden opportunity here to look impressive and move on to a bigger club than us, but it looks like he has shat the nest.
  10. One of the many things wrong with society today is rewarding wrongful behaviour. The ball boy incident is one such example. The laddie has a job to do, he wasn't doing his job, and he gets a signed jersey for doing the opposite of what he is there for. The laddie should be fired imo. His parents must be so proud of the way the boy acts around adults.
  11. I don't think anyone has been convinced that Ray is the man for the job. Whatever 'it' is, Ray does not have it. He had us in a position last year where we had a decent chance to stay up, and he fluffed it. With the resources we have, in comparison to the rest of the league, Eddie May could take us to the title. I would get shot of Ray now before it is too late. Good result for Clyde, enjoy your night.
  12. TBF, the Clyde fans on this thread are more confident of a comfortable Falkirk win than we are.
  13. It's strange that Campbell can be anything at all, except genuine.
  14. Timewasting happened for 90 mins we have been told? That is not possible. For what it is worth. I have no problem with anyone time wasting. I would bet there isn't football fan in the world who hasn't screamed at his team to waste time at one time or another. Teams are not going to a tough away game to entertain the home fans.
  15. Clyde don't seem to do clean sheets, so 3-0 to the Bairns.
  16. Any day now Campbell is going to Tweet. "Football club? What football club?"
  17. We are famous for it. We beat Raith 7-1 (I think 1990) and on the way out of Brockville this old grunter in front of me was raging about us losing a poor goal! Even if we were winning games 6-0 every week, there's a large section of our support who would find some sort of fault. Probably greeting because we weren't winning 7-0 every week. There are a lot of us who are realistic about being in this league. We are here for a reason, and the 'quality' players are with us for a reason.
  18. If the BoD and the manager have written this season off then why don't the fans do the same and keep their hard earned in their pockets?
  19. It's simple, they haven't got a clue They will claim after the match that they knew all along who it was (if he exists at all).
