  1. Where has Jye signed now? Wee bit unfair on him as he was a good servant to our club. Shame about Drongan. It happens sometimes.
  2. Stephen is serving a suspension and we can't wait to get him back on the park for us. Hard game against killie utd tonight, they have shown how tough they are to beat and have a strong togetherness as a squad.
  3. Well done onthank for holding out. Not our day in front of goal.
  4. Nice to hear. Saw him coaching before and seemed a really nice fella and knew his stuff. Good luck.
  5. Ok, forget playing with pals... How about that the working man may want to enjoy their hobby and play for the enjoyment of the game. End of the day if you're not enjoying your football then you need to do what makes you happy. Lower league teams must try to create the right ethos and environment for players. Hopefully we are one club that tries to do that. We are honest with all the players from the start and show them respect. Hopefully that is then returned most of the time. We could have folded last season at one point. It's very difficult. Everyone needs to pull together for it to work. An achievement these days for many clubs is survival. Best of luck to all clubs and their committees.
  6. If it's a rule that signed players can't play for another club during pre season friendlies then players and clubs need to stick to the rules! Some rules should be looked at and common sense should prevail, however... On another note, we told folk training with us that if they weren't signed and commited to our club then they weren't playing in the dean tournament. It actually helped gain respect from players as we were up front with them from the off.
  7. Was a really good game between us and New Farm last night. I'd like to know what makes us a poor side? Quite baffled by that actually as we received lots of praise from knowledgeable amateur football folk after the game and I'd say 3 or 4 of our players were stand outs at times during that game. We don't ever come on here talking about what we will or won't do though. Same with New Farm. You don't hear them going on about what they will or won't do in the premier and I'm sure for any new team to that league it's about staying in the division first and foremost. Ryan has brought consistency to the team and they never know when they are beaten. They'll be a decent addition to the premier and will stay up I believe. New Farm deserve praise for improving each year and getting to the premier. They will enjoy the challenge. Just also like to say a big congratulations to our other local rivals Killie Utd. Been impressed with them as a club and going in the right direction. We are making some good signings and may not be finished yet. People are made to feel valued at the club and hopefully we are moving the right way again. All the best to everyone for the season ahead.
