  1. October 1985 Lorne Hotel Sauchiehall St in Glasgow meeting a mate for a late night drink. Remember Scotland had been playing but had not taken much interest. Vaguely remember something about an English born Scot being called up in goal. Anyway there was a chap sitting next to us in the bar and we got chatting. Man had a real thick Lancashire accent and told his son had made his debut that night for Scotland. Just a nice humble bloke that was proud of his son. Roll on to about 5 years ago, same hotel bar. Me and the same mate. Turns around and there's Andy Goram on his own. Thought that's a bit spooky. Ended up buying him a drink and telling him the story of meeting his dad in the very same lounge back in 1985. Btw, his dad was long dead by that point. Great goalie although he admitted the ladies had run rings round him financially off the park. 58, no age at all RIP.
  2. lol I'm still trying to figure the complete silence from this podcast at the end of last season. Darvel, Cambuslang Rangers and Blantyre multi fiasco Plus Rutherglen Glencairn loaning out players or was it releasing players to Blantyre Vics hoping they might save themselves. Total deaf ear. lol
  3. Name changed officially at midnight last night according to the Twitter account.
  4. On a number of occasions you have said 3 up 3 down without adding in depending on promotion/relegation from the LL. 3 can go up but it might 3/4/5 coming down from the top Wosfl league. That in turn would have a domino effect in the leagues below. Just 3 up 3 down was a wee bit lazy on your part. Enjoy your holiday btw. lol
  5. Long term and if the pyramid is to work for the Wosfl, then we must except our top teams will leave and probably not come back. I don't think say Cumbernauld Colts, Broomhill, Caldonian Braves or an Albion Rovers would add anything to the Wosfl. Other make up the numbers.
  6. Believe 9 out of 20 would have went down this summer had the Highland League beat Club 42 followed by Darvel losing and Cumbernauld Colts and Broomhill say, coming down. We've joined a multi feeder pyramid. Anything can play out in this scenario.
  7. Call themselves anything they like but within a year they must drop any association with the Rossvale name. Going by the Boys Club statement.
  8. An elephant gun fired in banjo country Nah The Cambuslang shots fired in the Main St was a proper shooting incident.
  9. So is that the build a cover at the St Anthony's ground idea in the sea again?
  10. Massive respect LLL, is that a first you getting red dotted by Marshmallow. lol
  11. Started with leagues games in July 2021 and ended with a WoS cup final 11 months later.
  12. Although those were football record attendances. The record non football attendance for Hampden was in the 1950s at a Boys Brigade event were it's claimed that 250,000 turned up. Or one in 25 of the Scottish population on that day. Obviously the full pitch was used and both vehicle ramp positioned at both ends of the South Stand would have been used as exits by spectators. Notice that record has appeared a number of times on P&B.
  13. The West Junior Leagues would still be around if the SFA had opened up the big Scottish Cup years back. This idea that our top clubs can't wait to play the like of Broomhill is farcical. Without serious money you ain't doing a Kelty Hearts or Cove Rangers.
  14. There's nothing to wait and see, it's in the Constitution. Money talks
  15. What's in the LL that would rock say Talbot's boat?
