  1. One of the big plus points of football at this level is your team should be playing on a Saturday afternoon every week of the season (weather permitting) - it's not like top tier where a lot of Saturday afternoons can be free. So it's a routine, a ritual - you know there will be a game on a Saturday afternoon. In the Juniors folk were used to midweek games at the start and end of the season but not in between. They're not used to midweek winter games. I can't make the Nitten game (though I'd have been there if it had remained on the Saturday) - I'm sure I won't be alone. It's a busy time of year and lots of people will be on nights out etc. Personally I think moving this fixture was a mistake.
  2. Actually you were stating an opinion, not a fact. And your opinion was that this Rose team would win something (if they won't win nothing, they have to win something....) - it's no wonder I'm looking forward to it.
  3. I'm pretty sure the ref would have given a specific reason why he wasn't happy with the lights - but Camelon have chosen not to share that so far. Until we get that reason then the jury is out on whether fingers should be pointing at the ref, or at the Camelon committee if they have overseen the installation of lights that aren't fit for purpose.
  4. I didn't ask anyone to divulge any individual player's wage. If you reread my post you'll see it's not about individual player wages - it's about playing budgets.
  5. If you went to the club's AGM you would have at least some understanding. I don't expect any club officials to divulge their playing budgets on a forum like this - it should be for member / stakeholder consumption only. Putting information like that in the public domain risks putting themselves at a disadvantage in transfer / signing negotiations. So in conclusion, don't look for answers here, look inside your own club when the chance arises.
  6. Chris King signed for Linlithgow in the winter of 2009/10 season.
