We're going to relegate Aberdeen in the playoffs, heard it here first.
I think a New Firm playoff final would capture the nation's imagination much more.

Having watched us spectacularly implode in the December fixture at Stark's Park, I'm not buying into the nonsense that this'll be our first big win of the season.
Another win by the odd goal will do me fine.

Absolutely eye bleeding.
Not that it would have made any difference, but that was an outrageously little amount of stoppage time, given the subs, the Murray injury and the amount of time Strapp was taking at throw ins - I clocked one at 27 seconds and that wasn't his best effort.

We don’t do streaming at all anymore so you won’t be finding one to watch.
I wouldn't have been looking. I'll be at Stark's Park.

hopefully get a stream on the firestick.
There's a fair chance the clubs will be permitted to stream the games tomorrow night, although going back to covid times, the Inverness stream was utterly honking, made worse by the commentary.

Driving up for the match. What are the best options for parking and drinks/food before the match. Cheers.
Best option for parking is either the Beveridge Park to the north of the ground or the big car park on the seafront across from the Mitsubishi garage.
I'm not sure how many pubs in the vicinity do food late on a Tuesday - the Novar Bar on Nicol Street is worth asking, as is the recently reopened Abbotshall on Milton Road. The selection and quality food inside the ground has improved markedly this season.

Can we not just call it a draw and we beat United next Tues for ye?
In that case, you'd be far better resting all your injury doubts tomorrow to make sure they're fit for next Tuesday.

Might need a Rangers angle before they'll publish it.
Is it Rangers now?
It was Hearts a couple of years back when I stopped buying it.

You always hear "There's never any point in arguing with officials because they never change their mind ", but last night blows that out of the water.

Rugby is as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist.
Agreed .
In terms of enjoyment, rugby lies somewhere between root canal treatment and a stiff shite.

Millen was in his Rovers training attire this morning.
I passed him, Broony and Connolly on their way into gym 64 just after 9.30 this morning.

I still find it weird how that whole thing was portrayed as a "fairy tale" when it was very clearly only due to money and was always going to end the way it did.
Ploughing money into something when you have absolutely no chance of ever making it back would be deemed idiotic in any other business. In football it makes you "ambitious".
There was a period in the late 90s / early 2000s when Livingston were constantly referred to on Scotsport as "Ambitious Livingston" until they went into administration, of course.

I'm sure if you asked Dumbarton or Ayr fans about Kevin Nisbet, they'd have told you he was a useless forward. The same goes for Ryan Hardie at St Mirren.
I wasn't impressed by Fotheringham in his very short loan with us, but he clearly gained a lot of confidence with Stirling and kicked on from that.
Had you told me a couple of seasons ago he'd be well ahead of Ethan Ross in terms of Scottish football, I'd have laughed in your face.
In exactly the same way as most Rovers fans would have scoffed at the prospect of Jordan Thompson commanding six figure transfer fees in the English Championship.
There is probably a sizeable number of St Mirren and Morton fans who were pretty meh about Lawrence Shankland when they had him on loan.

What was the case for Ian Murray to stay at Raith last season when you finished 7th with 11 wins? I’m fairly sure the board thought he deserved another crack at the whip without all the disastrous injuries.
There’s no available managers out there that will guarantee we avoid relegation.
Given the spread of points in the league this season, it's not inconceivable that Dunfermline could finish higher than 7th, but Murray was deemed worthy of another crack, by most of our support at least, as we never looked in any danger of relegation. He also got us to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup, knocking out Premiership opposition on the way, to the final of the diddy cup and also put together a fairly lengthy unbeaten run (albeit it contained too many draws with points dropped from winning positions).

As an aside, Dundee United have not won a league game at Stark's Park since December 1998! We've only been in the same division twice since then, so it's only four games since we last won there...so it's not as bad at it first sounds.
1996.
By December 1998 we were fighting to avoid relegation to Division Two and were holding bucket collections to help get us out of the mess Alan Kelly left us in.

According to the website we've got the choice of behind the goals or the stand this time.
Might dilute the atmosphere a wee bit, but hopefully the performance on the park is enough to spark it.

Interesting that Matthews has done all the media stuff with the BBC today.
Hopefully that means he's going to have a significant involvement tomorrow.

Although I agree with you, it would have been money diverted from other places with no potential return on that investment.
Basic maintenance of the roofing and plumbing would have saved fortunes in the long run and it could have been brought into use when required - Airdrie generally don't open the stands behind the goals at their ground, but they're obviously maintained to a level that they can be opened instantly, as in last Sunday v Hearts.

Railway stand has always been the best view in the stadium Imo. Can understand why it was left to rot with our crowds not needing to have every stand open but it's a shame it's taken this long to really be considered for being brought back up to standard and used again.
I can understand why the railway stand was taken out of use, but absolutely no excuse for the state of decay it was allowed to get into.

I remember my first matches in the late 80s/early 90s were in that stand. Was fantastic.
Unfortunately I don't think the view was ever quite so good once the pitch was levelled.

You've just set yourself up for another pile-on when we run out in yellow tomorrow.
Agree with you about the steak and black pies though.
