John Simpson has apparently decided to retire from the catering. Probably too much from the 200 club AGM to write on here, but pretty much that the proposals laid out in the email are not really proposals, but done deals. The idea of having draught beer seems appealing, but I'm not sure the logistics of the rush at full time, the queue out of the door and staff pulling pints from one lager and one heavy tap in the confined space behind the bar have been fully thought through. Folk will be waiting for their first pint at 6 o'clock.

It's hard to say if the figures are good or not unless we know how many of the ones sold are freebies. The end of last week was the first pay day for a lot of people since they went on sale, so hopefully there's a spike in sales this week, but it could be that folk are waiting until the summer holidays are past and buy them in the run up to the first game for which they're vaild (Morton on 12th August).

Of those who are berating the strip, the collar seems to be one of the things that a lot of people are saying spoils it. It could have been an absolute beauty of a strip with just a wee bit more thought into the design.

There was around 4000 at the Friday night game which was abandoned, so given that it's the League Cup (no season tickets), live on the telly and right at the start of the Fife fair fortnight, I'll say between 3000 and 3500.

1-1 stood off and let the guy shift on to his other foot far too easily.

I'm just waiting on the beaks kicking us out the competition for our Trialist goalkeeper having Dabrowski on the back of his jersey. Would you put it past them? Kelty been all over us - hit the post with a cracking free kick just before our goal.
