  1. IIRC Danskin agreed to a yearly sum of £50K from EFFC to upkeep the sea wall as part of the deal with Forth Ports for the land that to build the stadium on.
  2. EFTv link on the EFFC homepage looks as though it has beed hijacked by a prize website.
  3. Last seasons leauges are finished. SC 19-20: Three games left, four teams and will be finished by December 2020 Europe 19-20: has one Scottish team left and will be finished by 23rd Augusy 2020 Europe 20-21: ? Euro 2020: Scotland have not yet qualified, max 2 games if they do and the finals have yet to be re-scheduled, they might nt even take palce. Betfred: Late start in Oct but finished by February, all bar 8 teams out by November, SC 20-21: Can't find any thing substasive exept final penciled infor May by UEFA. I don't see much in there to say it's going to be hectic (winter excluded), maybe the SC will be the the main disrupter.
  4. Where is this hectic schedule for the Premeirships? as far as I can see they are starting and finishing as near usual as possible. I think this change will be permanent.
  5. Can't see Championship, L1 and L2 not approving the same resolutions when they vote.
  6. Thing to remember is we will have the use of 5 subs next season, that could be a big game changer for this squad.
  7. As Anton is under 24 won't whoever signs him have to pay compensation to East Fife?
  8. I've not purchased a top for quite a few years but I will be purchasing both these Would be great for the club if we have a sea of black, gold and red at our first crowd allowed game, what a statement that would be.
  9. I’ve not read all posts so this may have been discussed previously. I think all this talk of SKY being a problem is a diversion, a red herring, a dead cat – call it what you like. Why on earth would SKY be against a 14,14,14/16 setup? It’s not as if they have a real interest in the lower leagues but approving a change to 14, 14, 14/16 would - in my opinion - be beneficial to them – and no team is penalised because the season fixtures can’t be finished. They would still get their coveted 4x Old Firm games; they would also save at least 2x Edinburgh derbies as Hearts would not be relegated, they might even have 4x Dundee derbies to show so it’s a win win for them as far as I can see. To me it looks like the problem with reconstruction all comes down to age old problem of greed.
  10. 14-20-10 - I would go for that, nobody loses and everyone gains - sort of. I think it would be a cracking division.
  11. And they call this a comprehensive and independent investigation! The one crucial piece of information missing in the report - what was in the email that the SPFL recieved at 16:48 from Dundee FC?
  12. I can't realistically see any more football/rugby/team sport/spectator sport being played in Europe (maybe worldwide) in 2020/21. It's not only crowd safety that's in question, how do you keep the team and staff safe, think about dressing rooms, physio rooms, gyms etc. how do you ensure these are virus free bearing in mind that the current tests can only show a result when you have the virus and there is no viable antibody test at present and immunity is not confirmed. There's a reckoning for the football authorities coming and it will be the big teams that will suffer with their bloated finances, no TV money, no travelling support etc. Answers on postcard
  13. I would take that, assume there would be a split to make it a 36 game season - and I would make it a permanent structure.
  14. If the leauges can't or won't be finished. Nothing has been won and nothing has been lost. No team deserves to go up, no team deserves to go down, no champions, no cups, no wooden spoons. Payout the monies as it stands and null and void the season.
  15. it's either finish it when it can be finished or the season is null and void. If thats not going to happen its 2up and nil down for one season then relegate two and back to playoffs the season after.
  16. At this time frontline SNHS staff can't get tested (my daughter is one of them) yet you think we can test football players/staff! Only two option for this season: a) finish it when it can be finished then work out what happens from there. b) Void it.
  17. John Martis was arguably post 70's too, (69-75), it's a toss up as both have been the best I've seen in an EF jersey .
