  1. That's right, forgot he played in that game. I was just focusing on one of my heros that day...Jamie Adams whilst trying to avoid collapsing due to the heat. Great day
  2. Aye, embarrassing behaviour. Wee neds is all they are. Spitting is disgusting and if I had spat on I'd have went tonto on the p***k, regardless of his age. Same with they Dundee Utd bams that knocked the Pandas head off earlier in the season. Just no need for it at all. If away fans want to fight with Ayr fans who are equally up for a scrap then fair enough, but assaulting club staff is beyond the pale
  3. At first glance I thought that was Gerry McLauchlan and Jonjo Shelvey modeling them
  4. The weekend games have given me hope for a win. We played well at Ibrox and "only" conceded 2 goals. Airdrie looked rotten yesterday after a bright start. 1-2 I'm going for
  5. Twente at Stair Park would be great. Went to the friendly game a few years back and it was one of the best days out I've had as a neutral. Cracking day weather wise, a buzz about the town and plenty of Twente fans in a party atmosphere. Good game as well from what I remember and a few players who'd played at/are playing at a great level. Jensen from Aberdeen was playing that day
  6. Shat it and only put £10 on Hearts to win. Motherwell scared me for life on the betting front
  7. We've beat Airdrie this season. Surely Hearts will win by a few goals here
  8. I don't watch that much of the Prem. Is it worth a punt on Hearts winning in normal time? Pretty good odds for it
  9. Honestly thought this was trolling/sarcasm, until I read the report on the Sun website. Horrendous. I've been to a fair few Stranraer games as both an away fan and neutral and it's one of the most sedate and nondescript grounds in regards to trouble. Usually only about 350 folk there, 70% of which are old dotes and kids. Genuinely shocked all this occured at Stair Park of all places
  10. Rangers won v us, celtic will win v St Mirren. The OF through to yet another SC quarter final. Yawn
  11. Finally back after making a day of the bright lights of Glasgow! As I predicted, it was 2-0. No disgrace in that performance. We had a few chances and didn't park the bus like many "bigger" teams do. Nice for the young lads to get some playing time on the big stage. Tomlinson was solid enough when he came on, and Guthrie with his competitive debut (I think). Bodes well for us having a performance like that against one of Scotlands top teams. Also pleasing to see Brown is maybe going to give youth a chance. Nothing pleases me more than seeing young local lads playing for the Super
  12. The first of the "big teams" to fall at this round. Wonder who is next? Hibs, come on down
  13. I switched it off until the second half, who was it?
  14. Think we can all agree Motherwell ain't winning this is normal time. They're stinking the place out
  15. Ross county must be worse than I thought, if this rabble put a barrow load past them midweek
  16. Tetchy commentary. First the injuries thing then snide remarks re what Lamont said about VAR. Stewart really is a horrible pompous p***k
  17. Pyro 11 mins into a game where no goals have occured. Minter. Never change Scottish fitba, never change
  18. Kelly and Clark being near the Scotland setup is
  19. Put your money on this going to extra time. The bookies are offering double on a Motherwell win. Crazy that a Prem team against one from the league below is such a highly priced payout
  20. Think there is some truth in it, in a backhanded way. He was a fan of them and played in their youths for a bit.
  21. Why isn't Stephen Kelly starting games for you guys? Saw he didn't even get off the bench earlier. The lad was a baller for us and even last season when I watched Sportscene he seemed to be getting a few goals. From an outsider it seems bizarre to bench a creative player like him when you're struggling for goals/points
  22. I'm holding out hope. I remember a few years back they played the "mighty" Stranraer at Ibrox, stinlar had a very unfit Stevo playing for them and only scraped a 2-0 win. Even Dumbarton scored v them in the last round
  23. I don't see us winning, but I also don't see a humping. 2-0 at worst. You'd imagine rangers will rest a few players so you never know. I'm still undecided about going. It's a ball ache KO time and the weather is to be shite. I'm getting too old and grumpy for this football lark
