I don’t think there’s anyone playing in the Championship that would be a loss to Scottish football should they stop playing. I’m quite enjoying what he’s doing in the woman’s game though.

Aye he's done wonders for them. They've only been in the league 3 seasons now (iirc) and he's got them playing some good stuff. Managed a draw a few weeks ago with a full time Rangers full of internationals and he's got them to a final.

He's a bassa when he plays v us, but I have respect for him. He's a busy bloke who clearly loves the game at all levels

That's just an inane comment. Did you see the incident?

The point I'm making is that the initial response, from a guy I presumed to be the security supervisor, was excellent. A review would perhaps highlight that he should have a way of letting the medical team know that this is a serious call out and requires some urgency.

The security supervisors have radio contact with First Aiders. As soon as they report a medical incident through the radio it's then up to the First Aiders to respond. I know they always ask the "nature" of the problem, probably to see what equipment they need and the urgency. No need to rush there for someone with a tiny cut in their finger for example

Not exactly safety crap mate, there's legitimate reasons for doing it. Scene safety or something like that it's called from what I can remeber

Safety crap in regards that a brisk walk would be sufficient. It riles fans up to see first aiders strolling to an incident due to "reasons" as they think the FA aren't giving a shit. Just wish people realised that there is as you say legitimate reasons for it

That was an extremely worrying moment when that elderly fella was on the ground. He was eventually taken away in a wheelchair so hopefully he can be make a full recovery. However, I feared the worst when the Jags banner was taken down and placed around the area while he was being treated. The lack of urgency shown by the medical staff was shocking and the man could have died whilst they sauntered to the incident in their own time. Also, in light of the reaction from Jags fans, I thought the referee could have halted the game for five minutes to ascertain what was going on. It was distasteful that the game was allowed to continue when a fan was possibly fighting for his life.

First Aiders are always told to walk to an incident rather than run. Presume it's in case they fall on their way or some health and safety crap like that.

Oh, without a doubt there's plenty of dilapidation but as have seen, money is now getting spent. For myself, even something as simple as the toilets being pulled down and modern worksite type units installed makes a massive difference to the match day experience. I don't know how good murals would look, okay initially they would be mint but 5-10 years down the line?

I'd hope a yearly power wash would keep them in decent condition. Our "neighbours" up the road have had theirs for a fair few seasons now and it still looked decent when I was there last season for our reserve game.

I'm so glad we never moved, Somerset is beautiful. You only have to go to a league game at Lego Land Livi or whatever it's called this week to see how soulless a 10k seater stadium is with 2k support... No thanks.

I'd take Somerset every day over these Lego type stadiums. Saying that it's very uninspiring along the back of Somerset Road. What ever happend to the mural thing Mathie talked about in the video? There's a few other things I'd like to see upgraded as well as the place does look shabby in parts

We very much have a League 1 squad. Its a worry.

As much as Bullen definately needed launched, it's very naive to think Brown will get much more of a tune out this lot.

Massive rebuild needed. Next season's going to be another transitional one I'm afraid.

But but but we will have a new stand!!!! Honestly, first the hub now the stand. And the backslapping of offield progress. Call me old fashioned but I'd rather we won on the pitch first and foremost...and I'm bitter about the NT being out of commission this season. The stand and SRE have been woeful for me aided by woeful performances (by and large) at home

  8. Struggling to think of a worse season for transfers (I'm only going back maybe 6 years, the Neil Watt juniors and Shanks days given me PTSD).

Pendelbury, Senga, Ahui, Rose, Young (4 duds and a good one but all away by January end). Chalmers not as good as last season but gets pass marks, Willoughby, McHugh, Sanders all various degrees of meh. McGeady pish. Armatey fell off and has been bombed out

Dowds and Murphy the best of the lot

  9. The new signings aren't an upgrade that what was there. Willoughby seems to be a Poundland version of Rose. McHugh has done nothing anytime he's played (and I include the reserve game on Tuesday in amongst that). Sanders steady enough and Clarke didn't seem to be any upgrade on Charlie. Woeful window and if Bullen had been in charge today, there would have been no end of pelters about him. Pish performance

I doubt Celtic would send him out on loan to us so he can sit on the bench to the end of the season.  Albinson has been a liability this season and picked the wrong time to chuck another 2 in the net against Dundee Utd with a new manager just coming in the door.  Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him go straight in the team.

Aye Brown said after the Dundee Utd game that Charlie chucked two in that day. I can see the new guy starting today *

    * probably a definite now that Albinson starts seeing as I've said that

  11. Call me mad, but I'm confident for the next two games. Raith always seem to shit the bed when they have a chance to go above Dundee Utd, plus Dabrowski never gives me confidence whenever I watch him (another Mehmet). As for Partick they were dung with Ross Stewart in goal.
