That's how rumours start though waiting to see tomorrow if the Sun or Record run with him being a contender

Who's all out of contract in the summer?

Any time I've seen Thomas at Somerset he usually looks a baller.
Longridge was having a good game before he got injured. Took some clatter
Think I've finally calmed down after that shit performance. Took a while

On paper the Stranraer squad is decent and shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom. I'd be surprised if you don't finish above Bonyrigg at the very least.
With Ayr playing on Friday night I may take in the game as a neutral. Can't beat a day at Stranraer. Some of my best away games with Ayr were spent at Stair Park

Was bored so had a look at the League 2 forum. Bonyrigg fan saying Whittaker has been named as one of the runners for the Bonyrigg job based on him being local almost as wild as the Aberdeen managerial role being linked with the Germany manager. Just hope the papers don't get wind of it and carry his name as a runner based on some random fans musings

If the appointment is going down the “local jobs for local people” route, here’s the Wiki list of ex-footballers who were schooled at Lasswade HS:
Gary Locke (ex Hearts). Seen on average five times daily by anybody who ever visits Bonnyrigg. He’s everywhere.
Gary Mason (ex Dunfermline). Don’t remember him.
Gary Naysmith (ex Hearts). Might he want to leave Stenhousemuir so he can get to Dani’s chippy or Gigi’s quicker on a Saturday night?
All of them are called Gary, there must be something in that.
Oh, it says Steven Whittaker too. He’s not called Gary, so he’s out. Although I’d heard he was from Peebles. Don’t trust Wiki, or me, on this.
There’s also ex Hibs goalie Graeme Smith who lives in Bonnyrigg next door to my pal. (Very close to being a Gary.)
Then there’s David Gray (anagram of Gary) who I believe grew up in Roslin, which is just a short but terrifying drive through Polton Road brae away from Bonnyrigg.
What do we take from this? The next manager is called Gary. Just you wait and see…
Steven Whittaker? Why exactly would he leave a championship club with his good pal, to manage a team heading for the trapdoor? Biggest laugh I'd had all weekend

I feel dirty as I'm rooting for Airdrie today. Just couldn't stomach a non-scottish team winning a Scottish cup competition. It's been an absolute riddy of a tournament since the non Scottish and B teams were introduced

Was McGinley injured when we signed him?

I wrote a 1000 word essay earlier in the thread about everything that was wrong today and most of it is the club telling us f**k all. You’re ok with that. Everything must be rosy then.
Im wanting the club to actually engage with the support regularly rather than when they are just looking for money.
Prematch press conferences and post match interviews are a waste of time, not one mention in either. Voice of reason never asked. They have their chance to speak to us and say f**k all.
It's bizarre we've went from social media posts for ANYTHING to now North Korea levels of secrecy. Maybe is coincided with Brown's appointment or maybe not. Weird either way

I guess the only saving grace is we have Airdrie next and we seem to have the number of them this season.
Sooner the season is over the better, I go to games these days through blind stupidity rather than because I'm excited to go. If half the squad isn't emptied in the summer then we could have another season of dugshite to watch

Awful first half, how many times did Robson ping the ball to Longridge who was in acres of space? Should have been picked on after the first time. Second half was better but with Bryden and McKenzie there wasn't much created. A game that was crying out for Rose...sorry Willoughby

I think Shankland showed tonight that he was, he showed his ability to find space loads of time, he lost his man every attack and was in space at 2-3 attacks where the final ball was poor.
He had 3 chances in the game, hit the bar and put the other two on target.
Gilmour was dictating the game. He took him off for Ferguson.. who deserves a chance but McGinn probably had his poorest game for Scotland and Ferguson replacing him would have been a better fit. Souter isn’t an international defender either.
Bookies didn't pay out for Shankland to have a SOT

Isn't Vinyl shut?
It's shut as a nightclub but I'm sure I read it's still an "event space"

I'm assuming there will be a player of the year night this season, any chance the NT will be ready in time for it or will it be at Vinyl?

Didn't realise the reserve game was today. Just had a nosey on the betting page and 0-3 down just before HT

It is by far the best live football on cooncil telly in the UK.
And smart to have the same slot every week, you don't even have to check fixtures.
I half rage when there is a full Championship calendar but no Fri night game.
As a match going fan I hate Friday night fitba but as an armchair fan it's brill. Shame Tuesday's game was such a shitfest as the Championship usually delivers good stuff

Is It just me that thinks the folk in the front row of seats are going to have a tough time seeing over the wall there?
Probably just the angle the photo has been taking from.
I thought the same. Between that and the 6 foot plus fat heads in the last row of standing

Absolutely respect that from you both and I never want to downplay the tragedy of horses dying. Don’t mind admitting my fav horse was L’Ami Serge and cried over its tragic end. Had the double green in my heart ever since.
Unfortunately wont ever stop me betting on them as heartless as that will be to some. Always happy to listen to chat and get perspective from others though who don’t agree with my views.
I think what hit me yesterday was I'd just been reading about Highland Hunter in the paper that morning. About how he'd walked before the hearse at that young jockeys funeral. To then read he'd died as well basically for people's entertainment and bank balance was just
Just hope there is no more deaths as in any other walk of life there would be serious questions asked

It's been a recurring theme this season to overprice the Rovers by a lot of bookmakers, they do get it wrong a lot in Scottish lower leagues, if you stick to single bets there's money to be made
Aye I always just stick to single bets. Lumped a few quid on it anyway
