Social media have probably spent the last 2 hours editing a 3 minute Forever Young video.

Well he did finish top at Wycombe in pre-season for running between two poles 50m apart for 5 minutes so I'm sure he'll fit into the Bullen style of play when he signs.

What's wyscout got on Wycombe's Jack Young? Given he barely plays for them it'll possibly not be much.

We're not exactly at the Brett McGavin, Jack Ruddy, Jamie Thomas, Ryan Connolly etc. stage after a 45 minute debut in which he got booked inside the first 5 minutes. RB is currently more a weakness than a problem. The club identified we had one and addressed it, time will tell if the solution works but that time is not 45 minutes.

Other than playing 2 games for Scotland due to having a Scottish grandfather I'm not sure what other reason people think would make Bridcutt a realistic target. Played his full career down south and unlikely to uproot his wife and kids to play in the Scottish Championship.

Personally never real bought the idea that he needs an experienced assistant. A dedicated full time assistant manager for the first team, yes. However enough dinosaurs exist in Scottish football that experience doesn't guarantee anything, the issue is finding someone that can balance out Bullen's weaknesses but they could have retired from playing yesterday for all I care.

He is only 5ft 8 but his club describe him as tough and combative. Looked decent from a 3 minute YT video and probably the type of player we need, whether that player is him remains to be seen.

Actually I've added a player to my shortlist tonight so I'm on a alert, although I like two to be sure.
