  1. That'll be Bullen spending the rest of the week looking at his phone now willing it to ring.
  2. Are they that obscure? Daydream Believer has a Ayr version with the 1999 commentary that plenty will have heard. I Think We're Alone Now as someone mentioned is probably more associated with Shankland's time at the club. The other song is commonly used by Villa, Wolves and Sheff Wed so a few will know that too. Even if it wasn't kids that chose them, one of them is fronting the idea and showing his name and face so some adults hiding behind faceless accounts could still do with learning what constructive criticism is.
  3. Whether people like the 3 choices or not at the end of the day it's a kid or kids that have came up with them. Couple of comments on the clubs posts are completely unnecessary and rude. Rangers aren't the only club in world football to walk out to a song so not sure why you feel the need to bring them into the conversation.
  4. Worse if you realise that tells you neither what sizes it comes in or if these are in stock.
  5. End of this season it's going to tender. Imagine we'll move away from them if our criteria includes having scanners that work and an online shop that doesn't involve putting the size in a comments box.
  6. Given I asked a question for the Q&A about the website maybe I should have listed my issues but felt it would have been pointless given Mathie's answer was essentially everything is wonderful with it. Only hope is that Ashleigh got a new website in June and that someone at the club can wrestle the web design away from the in-house media team's hands. Although given the shop part is tied into the dud that is Total Tickets I don't imagine it will be anytime soon.
  7. https://www.thefreelibrary.com/DEFEATED+FOOTBALL+STARS+ON+RAMPAGE.-a061358761 Funnily enough came across that when I was looking at our U18 team that had played in the 2002 Scottish Youth Cup Final. Think the one mentioned above is from the 2000 team.
  8. Despite people being quick to write him off I felt that he showed glimpses of talent in previous games. It looks like he prefers drifting out wide or running from deep which is why the lone striker role didn't suit him. Has decent movement particularly at set pieces and although a lot of his goals last season looked to be based on instinct, Fridays demonstrated a good bit of composure. Hopefully a confidence boost that he can take forward.
  9. Not sure why you'd expect the home club match sponsor to pick MoTM and select a player from the away team. Bit bizarre.
  10. Good prediction unless this is where you reveal yourself to be him.
  11. The first one played for Inverness which is the usual go to when making up next manager odds and the 2nd is their former cup winning manager which is the next criteria. After that, I'm assuming this will be McBookie in which case the rest are normally priced based on Twitter requests. None of that is any basis to decide what the rest of Scottish football think of our manager.
  12. He's not though is he? Not listening to it but it's McLeod and McFadden on commentary. Only mention of McGeady on BBC Sport is at HT, which is presumably analysis he can do anywhere.
  13. Times like tonight David Smith will regret coming off this. Drug Awareness with Cocaine Charlie Anti-Bullen Bullies Bully Ahui's Pirate Petes Party Syla's Christmas Show - Roy's Toys
  14. Although Mathie is a director he doesn't hold any shares in the club. Did he still need to put money in to join the board or were Smith and co that out of their depth football wise that it wasn't required?
  15. Not sure why they think the website is wonderful when we don't even have match reports that clubs in L2 manage to produce. Some might say that the AP has them but their main job isn't to promote the club. Generally fans have no real incentive to visit the official site which should be a slight concern as not everyone is on social media. Another thing with regards to increasing season tickets is does the club website have a clear signpost showing where to buy them as I can't see it?
  16. The same lapsed fan argument has been used since about 2004. At this point it's about being able to attract the young generation and keep them coming back. Question for the club would be with the free school tickets do they see any boost in ST sales or even increase tickets for the next home match. Challenge in Ayrshire will always be competing with the existence of the Old Firm. Sure plenty of us would have went to school with so-called OF fans that would laugh at the idea of supporting Ayr but would struggle to find the way to Glasgow or name 3 players from their favourite team. Doesn't help either that some kids grow up here thinking it's perfectly normal to only support an English team, which doesn’t extend beyond watching them on Sky.
  17. Mark McKenzie is from EK so probably the reason. Both McKenzie and Bryden might benefit from loans at the point even if it’s only until January to boost confidence and get more game time rather than 10/15 minutes at the end. Depends what formation Bullen is planning to do next though.
  18. In fairness I mixed it up and put it in the match thread last night instead.
  19. Chalmers was way down the pecking order at Dundee United and we signed him. Might be humiliating for members of the anti Adeloye club though.
