  1. Do you get points for hitting the woodwork
  2. Was it much different from your 1-0 win there with a late goal against the run of play ?
  3. We played “ Murrayball” for the first half of the season which got us in a great position but Murray didn’t have the balls to continue with it once we reached the top and the changed, more reserved style of play from Xmas time onwards proved our downfall in the second half. Re Brown tonight, I thought he was really poor in the first half and although have sympathy for him for having to play out of position for most of the season, he has no excuse though for shirking away from the ball in the lead up to there second goal and turning his back on the ball when he could have cleared it. We went for it in the second half which left spaces at the back and always a risk but the game was lost on the first half when we were once again second best to Airdrie. Murray has not learnt from all the previous defeats to them this season and looks clueless what to do about it.
  4. I don’t see Murray ever playing Mathews , Byrne and Brown in the same midfield.
  5. Poorest game of the season today no football whatsoever. Ball up in the air all day with constant stop start for fouls. Cant understand the defensive midfield role going to Turner today, we had no control in the midfield whatsoever. Should have had either Byrne or Mathews in there although dont know why Byrne has been used so sparingly over the last month or so, is he carrying an injury? Really can’t understand that one Its not all done though as more points will be dropped by Utd before the end of the season - as will we. On another point , the Murray injury. We have had all the controversy’s recently re the Celtic player getting sent off against Hearts for dangerous play by going close to kicking the hearts players face. Well Murray gets a full on kick in the face - and only a booking
  6. Doubt you will have much bother with the Falkirk fans at lunch time, they don’t kick off until 5.30
  7. Just shows how desperate they are for money and highlights how even more ridiculous the Rovers ticket reduction plan is for their own finances.
  8. I read somewhere that it looks like they have kept the 6 front rows full length free and not selling tickets for them hence the 600 shortfall of tickets. Wonder how their long list of creditors feel seeing the club turn down money that they could be paying back to some of them
  9. Think you’re missing the point ya end. More to do with McPakes views on other teams celebrating
  10. Did you see McPake and his bench clapping and cheering when the second goal went in ? Embarrassing the way they celebrated. Surviving relegation isn’t handed out in March you know. No respect for Utd
  11. I take it you didn’t read your post before you commented on someone else’s written English
  12. I thought Easton was really poor tonight just kept on giving the ball away
  13. In fairness 1800 of the near 2000 will be related in some way so surely there must be a bit of familiarity between yous all
  14. The match day revenue thing is a bit misleading when you break it down, in that for the Morton game the full season ticket money was already in the bank, so the half price tickets only affected the balance of the attendance not counting the season ticket money and not the 4000 odd in attendance. As many of the earlier fixtures had attendances nearer the low 3000s, then taking in to a count the extra 1000 odd on the gate paying a tenner and the extra money made from the kiosks etc then it’s not hard to see how the revenue was similar. Well done to the board though for getting the extra punters through the door without much ‘loss’.
  15. Imrie -“ They have stuck together through thin and thick”. It’s clear who the thick one is, can’t even get that round the right way and a bitter wee man.
  16. Don’t think he can sign a permanent deal with anyone just now if released as that signing date has past, would have to be a loan but I’d imagine he will sit still until the end of the season and collect his wages.
  17. Another poor poor performance. The season is in danger of drifting away from us. Never tested the keeper, never created anything, look a shadow of the team from before Christmas. Huge game coming up against Utd with the pack also chasing us.
  18. Getting a win is more important than rotating the squad. The winless run ending has to be the priority to restore confidence and getting us back in the game irrespective of the competition. Has to be the strongest team tonight
  19. Figures are great and well done to all. Wonder if some of these sponsorships are multi year deals though but will find out in next years figures. Looking good going forward though
  20. Murray saying today 99.99 % certain no more signings before this weeks deadline but still have option to the end of Feb for loans from SPL clubs if things change
  21. If he’s getting sold then wait until after Saturday - he likes a winning goal against Inverness this season
  22. The second goal started from Easton trying to back heel the ball back into play and giving possession away although there were a few chances after that to prevent the goal
