  1. Think people look at this in too much black and white terms. He was a very good player that never really fulfilled what he was capable of IMO. My overriding memory of his latter years was that he preferred being the puffed out chest Rangers captain that had an air of arrogance about him than actually improving his game. Don't get me wrong I think he was very good I just always thought that stood in his way.
  2. Looking at our current dons team and your hearts team that came up from the diddy league by my reckoning we've had: Dons pump hearts at tynecastle Dons dominate at pittodrie and sneak the win Deserved hearts win in the cup Hard fought league game, bit of a dead rubber but fair enough hearts win Total dead rubber hearts win A 0-0 draw that hearts fought well for a draw and could've snatched. Seems pretty even to me. I won't make any predictions as I think hearts are a good side and could well finish 2nd. But we're 8 games in, league has taken no shape whatsoever yet. ETA - your attendance obsession highlights only one thing. You're an insecure wee child who needs to feel like he supports a big club
  3. At least the hearts fans have waited 8 games to shoot their load this season. What was it, 5 games last season?
  4. To be fair if they don't hate you then you're doing being a Scottish football fan wrong
  5. Another statement pandering to the moron element of their support. They know exactly what they're doing and it's self interest at its worst.
  6. What a bizarre article. He actually says nothing then lists historic results. Did he get paid for that?
  7. Well done hibs. Yet another victory in a quite perfect day.
  8. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-manager-mark-warburton-ahead-8924823 Talk about desperate [emoji1]
  9. You just saved me an hour of my life cheers [emoji106]????
  10. Not listened yet but the synopsis is described as 'we debated Rangers performance at pittodrie and debated mark warburtons tactics' I don't know if this is as one sided as it sounds and this probably comes across as really petty but how difficult would it be to have 'we debated Sunday's clash between Aberdeen and Rangers'? No doubt the rest of the matches are also effectively ignored specifically Hamilton saints which seems to have been completely lost in the media
  11. This sort of stuff is unbelievable, really unbelievable. Ok in Scottish terms Alloa are a smaller club but they are a business and are capable of business planning for the future. You'd think by the way the speak that in every cup draw the Alloa board of directors are running about the boardroom with their hair on fire if they don't draw Celtic or Rangers. Word to sport sound et al, clubs can manage their cash flow without the help of the blue or hooped pound, they are competent human beings.
  12. His speech on diving was absolute dribbling nonsense. 'Aye well if I get touched, I'd fall, but I dinna like diving ye know the somersaults and aw that but aye if go down' What?
  13. Barry Ferguson: "This is what he brings to our game, a show" I can think we can do without mouthy journeymen who try and publicise their book by having bust ups with his colleagues
  14. I would suspect a few championship clubs too, and hibs will also be in that pot this season going on recent attendances
  15. This the same bbc that had an hour long podcast on 'Scottish football' that spent 95% of the time talking about one sentence from a mark warburton press conference? That bbc?
  16. Listened to sport sound the other night and they were talking about Rodgers impact at Celtic. Derek Ferguson the genius commented that Brendan probably 'let's them put ketchup on their chips', unlike deila. That was his only contribution. Yeah that's it Derek, Celtic have broken the bank to bring in a manager that allows ketchup in the canteen. FFS.
  17. I had to double take when I saw this on the bbc website. Other than getting absolutely binned at rugby park has he done anything noteworthy at Rangers yet? I haven't watched it but I am curious as to what 'moments' they have cobbled together.
  18. Yep. Presumably because they had been speaking about Celtic earlier in the week due to CL participation they felt the need to 'even it up' so to speak.
  19. They spent nearly an entire show discussing a mark warburton press conference. They are not even trying to keep up the story of Scottish football being about more than 2 teams.
