  1. Shearers performance on MoTD was absolutely glorious
  2. If anything made Leicesters premier league triumph a victory for 'small' clubs everywhere, it is that Man City spent £50m on Raheem Sterling. Absolutely unreal.
  3. Surely magic hat Warburton is front runner for the job
  4. Yep. It would be mental to remove the risk of a red card for just taking someone out who was through on goal.
  5. I reckon Griezmann could do a job for the Dons
  6. Falling apart for the Oirish noo
  7. Agree. The way modern football is international teams are never going to reach the standard of the elite club sides. I hate international friendlies but competitively I love international football and especially major tournaments, Fantastic atmosphere and genuine upsets on a regular basis. Annoys me when the sky sports generation just dismiss international football as shit.
  8. Whilst the quality of teams hasn't been in touch with previous years I am actually really enjoying it. Genuinely don't know who's going to win the tournament I think there are several contenders. Great stuff.
  9. Without question it will be Ruth Davidson supported by a few others. She is the stick on Scottish Unionist poster girl
  10. Chick Young was fucking embarrassing. His comment that we gave the other teams encouragement after our game in Dortmund was the reason behind Ireland and Poland getting results against Germany and not us was mental. Those teams went and got results and we didn't. End of story Chick.
  11. Glad Ireland got through but they are brutal to watch and I like France. Allez les bleues
  12. While this is annoying, BBC's England feature during Wales v NI had me seething. Two Home nations facing off in the last 16 of the Euros and they have to put in an England segment. Why? Seething/verge of tears etc.
  13. I see what you're saying, I do. But 2 years ago the democratic will of the Scottish people was to be a part of the UK and accept everything that comes with that. That means that we take part in a democratic exercise as part of the UK as a whole, and the UK took the decision to leave the EU. Scotland has to accept it is part of that. I think it gives us the right to hold another independence referendum, as she can say to the people of Scotland if you don't want something like this to happen again , you know what to do. I don't think she has the right to say we don't like the outcome of this vote we're going to veto it.
  14. Even if they could and I'm not 100% sure on that, it would be political suicide to do so. Imagine we voted yes in 2014 and the westminster government then veto'd it, can you imagine the uproar? Much like this petition to do the EU referendum again, it is undemocratic and wrong, as much as I am very concerned about the decision to leave the EU. If we all insist on living in a democratic society then we just have to live with it.
  15. FTSE down 8.5%, Barclays down 35% Well done England, you fucking cretins
