  1. Despair at some of the neanderthal views on this kind of thing still held even by my own mates. "How can someone on that much money....blah blah...."
  2. Must be in a bad way if it's forcing him to take time away from football. All the best Leigh.
  3. Indeed. It is very boring that periodically some journalist in Glasgow decides to fart out an article saying "Why don't the diddies at least try and catch up?", particularly after outlining some (but not all) the reasons why that is virtually impossible.
  4. That's such a lazy and pointless article there's no real point dissecting it. But it doesn't even touch on the £30m Celtic receive just for qualifying for the Champions League. What he actually does say is just a boring regurgitation of an age old discussion.
  5. The onus needs to be on the car in the slip road to give way. It's not always possible to move into the right lane if someone is overtaking you at the same time. Saying that, it's shit behaviour not to move over if you can and can actually be pretty dangerous not to.
  6. Maybe I should have been clearer. I don't mean changing our mind alone would be embarrassing, and if it's the right thing to do we should obviously do it. I more meant the entire thing from the moment a referendum was called, 2 years of people running around with their hair on fire to eventually deciding that maybe this is all a bit stupid would be hilarious.
  7. You mean it isn't already? It would be the cherry on the icing on the cake
  8. If this all ends with the UK saying 'actually guys, we've decided this wasn't a brilliant idea after all, let's call it off', then it could be the most hilariously embarrassing political event in history.
  9. yeah youre right but this time i thought i had enough evidence to get that elusive apology! If you are ever lucky enough to get a crumb of an apology it will be followed by a few hours of being made to feel guilty about it.
  10. No no, we're all just socially engineered to prefer men's football
  11. Not my wife but her parents. We were round for dinner at theirs and they made coffee for after dinner. The exchange went like: Mother-in-law - "For goodness sake, that is the wrong coffee pot" Father-in law - "I couldn't find the other one, it wasn't in the cupboard" Mother-in-law - "I moved it because YOU were putting it away in the wrong place!" I sincerely hoped he was just waiting until we left to boot her in the pie.
  12. As mentioned above just see it as the first step towards a better future. Better to tackle these things head on than just let it go on indefinitely making everyone miserable. Shite situation for you though, hope she comes out of it much better.
  13. Don't really understand why anyone feels the need to check themselves in on social media when they are out anywhere.
  14. It's depressing. Do they not wonder why they can get a main course and glass of wine for like a fiver.
  15. Big Jerel Ifil remains the worst footballer I've ever seen to be fair. Dave Bus may be a close second though
  16. You're still claiming a side that finished 4th a being the worst in recent memory when we've had sides that finished 9th just about every year and Mcghee's team were headed for almost certain relegation. Pre-Calderwood we were utter garbage as well.
  17. Poorest in living memory? Hardly. We reached the last 32 of the UEFA cup even if league form was inconsistent. Nothing on the horror show that was Mark Mcghee's team.
