Is it ok to like Brewdog, craft beer and normal pubs/supermarket lager without being a paedo? Asking for a friend.

I'd like to add to this: - given the ever greater natural resources required to sustain the demands of humanity, curing cancer and increasing the population even further would not necessarily be a good thing big picture. - too much emphasis is placed on length of time living and not enough on quality of life

It's not purely for tax, there are plenty reasons (as well as cons) to be set up as a contractor. You have none of the employment law protection, for example. It is not meant to be used purely for tax reasons, hence she was investigated. The company is subject to corporation tax on the profits and the individual is subject to tax on getting the money out of the company, whether it be via salary or dividends. Plenty of celebrities have pretty horrendous means to legally avoid tax. This isn't one of them. There's probably more eloquent ways of putting it than Lorraine Kelly being an example of the whole country being a disaster.

Lorraine Kelly set herself up as a contractor. Something that is done by many, many "ordinary" people on "ordinary" pay all across the country. They too would be pretty pissed off if HMRC hit them with an income tax and NIC bill.

Did 7 miles last night. Had a bit of a rest week last week (still running/working out plenty but generally taking it a bit easier) as was feeling pretty fatigued on my runs both physically and mentally. Seems to have helped as average pace was 7:30 which is about 40 seconds per mile faster than my previous best on that run.

Not bad but probably the worst of the series so far for me.

I don't know if it's yet another modern day phenomenon that's left me behind, but I sit in disbelief as I read whatsapp groups with my mates, constantly updating each other on their food intake. Photos, plans, reviews, all over mediocre, everyday food. I find it staggering.

This is very true. I don't read nearly enough as I should and while it would be easy to blame lack of time. The truth is I have a couple of hours free most days after work, eating, exercise etc is out the way, and I make a conscious choice to spend it watching some shit on the telly instead.

People constantly talking about food. What they've eaten, what they'd like to eat, what they might eat tomorrow. I don't care. I really don't care.
