Total nightmare for the Aberdeen based Clubs with Aberdeen playing at Hampden the same day access to Buses is pretty much non existent...Aberdeen is pretty much a one club city and with them taking large numbers to Hampden it makes things very hard for these teams due to play that day in terms of travel, not like Scottish Football to make things difficult

Surprised but not surprised. With him being ex Locos it is not a shock but given what he has built up at Turriff I thought he would keep going. Locos are a Club with lots of potential to be even bigger and have the right idea on wanting to blood local talent but will the ambitious people behind the scenes have the patience?

Brighton will lose at least one of Caicedo and Mac Allister, reckon this is his audition to prove they do not need to buy anyone in and he will be the man to step in when it happens as Brighton can still qualify for Europe at this stage, these are not dead rubbers they are playing him in so hopefully he grabs his chance.

Not seen much of him but if playing regularly for Aberdeen side which is doing well then no reason why not, especially if it was going to happen before he became Unwell.

I have actually written to my Local MP about the Scotland Games issue because I feel so strongly about. I know am going off topic with this but it angers me how England Games are free to air but ours are not? It is clear the SFA are only interested in the money so it is pointless asking them to champion this. For me, the Government and respective devolved administrations should make the following sporting events as a legal requirement to be free to air for all: World Cup Euros Olympics Wimbledon 6 Nations and World Cup World Cup and Euro Qualifiers for ALL home Nations. The Grand National PPV TV is getting worse and irrespective of a cost of living crisis we need to say enough is enough and push for change.

Firstly, I truly hope I am wrong, I want to win every game but I have learned that having low expectations for Scotland stands me in good stead ie I am not too disappointed when it goes wrong and I do not go too OTT when we do well. I just feel that although the squad is generally settled there a LOT of players not in great form at all. Not arsed about lack of game time as they never let us down but I worry about where the goals are coming from? where is the spark? If Adams and Dykes start where is the impact from the bench? Ryan Christie is not exactly settling the world alight, nor is Armstrong as they will be the go to's. Jacob Brown is not exactly prolific either is he? It is a big worry but as said, I really really do hope you all make me eat my words.

Fans are taken for mugs at all levels, why do 3/4 New Kits need released every season but as said the even bigger mugs are those who complain about it yet still buy them. You make sensible points but really cannot see it. It seems they have given everyone more chances than him, he plays a game and is then out again, he has not been given a chance to get a run of games and even if they are raided as someone else has stated he will still be overlooked probably.

Personally does not bother me at all. Craig Fowler, Rob and Joel know their stuff either way. Would take this show ANY day over the usual cliched Old Firm only mentality that majority of the MSM Take. No show has done more for giving the rest of Scottish Football a voice than AVFTT and long may it continue. Have you also ever considered that others who Podcasts have maybe been asked and perhaps do not want to be on TV for example? Not saying that is true but not everyone wants to be all over the TV and prefer the safety net of a Podcast. For me AVFTT is essential part of my Football weekend and I never miss it. Fully Agree. I do not normally agree with likes of Bill Leckie but in The S** today he made some good points on this situation. I think the issue is we have become blinded by what the Elite Level of the game has created, small, technically gifted players with a low centre of gravity etc etc. Do not get me wrong these players are great but half the reason Haaland stands out so much, apart from being an Alien, is that he is a throwback to a type of Striker that was Ten a penny back in the day. in the 70s, 80s, early 90s, big tall, physical strikers who could stick the ball in the net. Now it is all false 9s, Wingers who cut inside and the like. We need to take what is unique about our game and use it to our advantage instead of trying to be like other nations.

I was there also. I have a personal attachment to BOD historically so go and watch them when I can. They started well but offered very little after taking the the lead. The lad for Buckie, Number 10, was best player on the pitch by a country Mile, did not even have to break a Sweat! BOD have done well in the step up though, they have a good model with bringing the younger lads through etc, the key will be for when they need to start regenerating the squad, that will be interesting.

It is a huge concern isnt it? I fear we are going backwards again, barely any good players coming through in Key positions and if they do they sign for CLubs that they sit on the bench for 9 times out of 10.

I would honestly rather play with 9 or 10 than play with the useless carthorse Hanley. A Container Ship in the Panama Canal could turn quicker than Hanley. He will get torn apart from Spain and the One Man Team Haalway but such is Life.

The lad has clearly been badly advised by either his Family or his Agent..the Move to Brighton was too good to be true and he has wasted yet another season and stuck at a Club with a Management Team that have zero intention of giving him opportunities. It is a shame as he offers so much but think he is destined to end up being a nearly was unless he can find the right club to shine at.

Why Is anyone surprised that the SFA will bottle calling him up? Wales and the Irish even England would have him in the squad but us? No, we will pick the same old never have beens. I am not advocating starting him against Israel but he MUST at least be in the squad to integrate him for the Nations League and World Cup Qualifiers.

I would rather play with 10 than play Shinnie at Left Back.....I do feel Robertson has been rubbish since he was given the Armband though., he just isnt a leader, id be interested to see if there was any difference in him playing with someone else as Skipper... I would like to see us stand up to Clubs though and invoke the UEFA rule where needed.
