  1. Anyone else's still saying offline? Pretty sure it's usually on by now
  2. Disappointing but expected with time of year and weeks of on off frost and spells of heavy rain since last home game. Least with a big target man up top a hoof the ball tactic might work
  3. Has been an unused sub in the last couple of games.... Could be a game changer if we could pull that off, ambitious in an understatement though i fear. I had hoped Robbie Crawford on loan could have been a possibility cause he wasn't playing for Motherwell under Robinson however he's starting every game for them now so that'll not be happening unfortunately. Think our business will be done tbh, 3 signings already including Smith until end of season, is pretty decent business for us going by January standards, think a 4th would be asking a bit too much at these times with no real income. Makes you wonder how Dundee can all of a sudden afford to sign Cummings and now may be getting Kyle Lafferty and Joe Ledley allegedly, anyone doing checks on how these Government £500k loans are being spent?........
  4. Houston injured, safe to say he has had a fucking disaster this season
  5. I think something we can all agree on is the quality of this league is shit and seems to be getting worse with each passing season we've been in the championship
  6. Was reading somewhere on twitter from someone who's connected to sports journalism that if Shankland was to be sold for £1m or over we'd be entitled to 5% of that, unsure if A) It's true and B) If it would perhaps be some form of gratitude fee McCall got tagged on for us., similar to Rose. Anyway i doubt he'd go for a million, wouldn't be surprised if Aberdeen go for him if they lose Cosgrove.
  7. Play offs have just got a lot harder with Dundee signing Jason Cummings ffs
  8. Well with 3 wins from 12 we're hardly setting the form table on fire are we......
  9. If we don't beat Alloa and worse case scenario lose, we are in the shits big style, like near relegation battle, then those 3 games don't look favourable for picking up many points. Difficult to say how we're going to play though because we've only played twice in the last 5 weeks, however both performances were nothing scintillating. Was looking at highlights of last few games before lockdown in March and even then on pitches which were nothing great we were still playing half decent football, so i think a lot of it this season is down to the personnel Kerr has brought in, or the fact they've not lived up to expectations. Made me realise too how many good players we've lost since last season, Doohan, Harvie, Forrest, Kelly and Drinan to an extent who've gone on to much better things. On top of that Houston is a shadow of himself and Roscoe i would say has gone backwards, watching those did make me appreciate a bit more that extent of rebuild Kerr had to do, would definitely say though last season our team had a lot more pace in it, especially the midfield, our play was much quicker up the park from back to front. We need to start seeing that style of play again pronto
  10. I do think it was pretty stupid idea rearranging this game for only 10 days after the original one when the weather is so shite just now, hope the new date they use a bit of sense and punt it down the road a few more weeks in the hope of improved weather.
  11. I was meaning for just now with all the covid stuff to avoid as many backlogs with fixtures as possible, i mean look at Inverness they're already 4 games behind QOS who've played the most and for arguments sake if Inverness were to win those four games that would take them from 8th to 2nd and only 3 points behind Hearts which is quite a difference. I wasn't meaning for it to be a permanent thing going forward. Do stick to my proposal of venue switch just now with no supporters income to take into account, i'm sure some form of agreement could be reached to share the PPV income more equally or something. I think just now clubs should be open to more flexibility and change at late notice. Even if yesterday, pitch condition and weather forecast had been looked at and there was a sense the game could be in danger the decision could have been made yesterday to switch venues, that way you'd at least get over 24hrs notice. Just think clubs can't slip too many games behind incase you can't catch up, a covid outbreak at a club would immediately put you back another 2 or 3 games at most. I know i'm wasting my time cause clubs would never agree to it or the governing body probably don't even have the brain capacity to have thought of that.
  12. Disappointing call off, was looking forward to seeing Wright tonight and i fancied us to take something from the game. In the current situation regarding the week to week uncertainty of covid, i think the SPFL/SFA and clubs need to come up with an agreement where in situations like today the venue is switched or if after 2 postponements the other team are awarded 3 points. Somerset pitch would have been fine for tonight i'd imagine so no reason to stop the venue being switched if enough advance timing was given. Just takes a bit of creative thinking which i know is asking a lot of Scottish Football however it's best way to keep teams having played a level amount of games so you don't end up with large indifferences. If season was to be stopped and based on current league positions it would stop issues like last year with QOS/Partick Thistle game in hand debate. Seems to be a questionable call off all round with weather not being too bad now in Dundee and the possibility that Dundee have done a sly one not putting down covers or USH so they can have a few more days rest for injuries to heal, only Dundee will know if every possible effort to get the game on was made, when a game is called of 8 and a half hours before kick off with only 4 hours needed for team travel and warm up i'd say not. Will attach pictures below of Tannadice today (allegedly, considering groundsmans wearing shorts) and also picture of McMullan signing today with pitch in background looking better than it did 10 days ago so you can think of them what you will.
  13. We might have unearthed the next Lawrence Shankland you never know lol
  14. Lets get straight to the point.... Is this likely to be on???
  15. Take it he will have got covid test today meaning he'll be fine for Tuesday night at Dundee?, McCardle spoke about being set up for physical battle against Dundee so can see him slotting right into the starting 11 in place of Zanatta on Tuesday night, only change i'd make tbh.
  16. With us having the reputation under Kerr of keeping transfers top secret this one has gone to the other end of the spectrum and ended up being the biggest leak and worst kept secret ever lol
  17. This guy was training with killie and has either chosen us over them or wasn't deemed worthy of a deal at Killie which wouldn't fill me with confidence. Had a good goal record at last club but before that he'd hardly scored any goals, bit of a gamble IMO
  18. How is the wee man? Is he still with us? Kevin McClellan the physio commented on a FB query about Moore saying that he's doing rehab with him, didn't think i'd need to say this but we could do with him back ASAP
  19. Jordan White inbound, bit of a ' meh' for me, thought he was just a bit of a carthorse at Inverness, was amazed when he'd managed to get a deal at Motherwell, maybe explains now why they're in the mess they're in with some of their business in the summer. Still hopefully he might bring the other guys like Walsh, Smith, McCowan and Moffat into play opening up more goals. Didn't see today but looks like we were pretty solid at the back but just lacking something upfront, which could have perhaps been improved by having a physical prescence to hold the ball up. Hope White pays off cause it simply needs to for Kerr with pressure on him to get it right after other two striker signings Anderson and Cameron were a disaster with only 1 league goal between them. On another note i think it's very poor the club never acknowledged Cameron left (as far as i'm aware).
  20. Just playing a game of football would be a bonus for us just now tbh, to then say to ourselves 90 minutes later "i wished we hadn't been playing"
