  1. We've only played Rangers seven times, how can we have not beaten them for 30 games? They've only existed for five years.
  2. Scott Fox cocks-up again to gift Aberdeen a goal, St Johnstone release Paul Paton. All in all a satisfying last day of the transfer window.
  3. Not SPFL, but during Berti Vogts reign as Scotland manager, he promised the fans "something special" before a game at Hampden. This transpired to be Barry Ferguson and one other running towards the West Stand before the game with a Scotland flag the size of a tea-towel. They half-heartedly waved it for five seconds before deciding it was shite and stopping.
  4. I hope we shift Nitrianski on then. What's the point in holding onto him?
  5. Livi have looked pretty decent this season. Hope Jámês Penrìćé does well there.
  6. Definitely somewhere he'll get a regular game. I'd like to see how he gets on over a whole season at a good level. He's impressed me on the few occasions I've seen him play, but that was in fits. I think he looks a real prospect and hope he makes it.
  7. He's promoting baseball caps in return for baseball caps (and probably cash).
  8. If it is two strikers, cue folk having a meltdown about having too many forwards....
  9. Were you in P1 when you were 12? As earlier in this thread you said you were 19.
  10. Not sure you can say Turnbull more than replaces Lindsay based on one game. And if we bring in another Henoc Mukendi, then that's not an upgrade on Azeez.
  11. Don't Panic! Super Ryan is here to save us! http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/15459216.Ryan_Edwards_hoping_to_step_up_for_Partick_Thistle_in_Kris_Doolan__39_s_absence/?ref=twtrec
  12. Hahaha. That was the finest description of him I've read. Well played. I can't believe someone with such an unspeakably dull name be a prima donna!! Different if it was Julio Casagrande de Oliviera Escobar, or something like that.
  13. Did we look off the pace? We were sharp at the beginning and Doolan could have added a second on Saturday, before Hibs changed their shape and closed out in midfield. We failed exploit the space they left when doubling and trebling up on us when we had the ball. I didn't think we looked any less sharp than them, they got their tactics right and we couldn't adapt until it was too late. Abdul and Barton getting caught on the ball was down to Hibs not giving us time on the ball. We need to move it on quicker. On the plus side Keown was excellent, Bannigan is starting to look like he's never been away and the new guy looks like a savage. I'd like to see McLaughlin start if Doolan is out, while we try to bring another striker in. He's looked pacy and as if he's not scared to have a shot from outside the box.
  14. She's not a 'kipper. She is trying to make some kind of intelligent point. But failing.
  15. Not wanting to turn this into the book thread, however, I read Art Davie's 'Is This Legal?' at the weekend. Really good if you get a chance to read it. I'd always wondered how the UFC came about, and this tells all that and more. I got a loan of a VHS tape in about 1995/6 marked 'Bushido', but it was actually UFCs 1 & 2. The book tells the chaotic birth and even more chaotic story of the night of that first event itself. I'd give it a solid Richard n Judy's Book of the Week.
  16. Seems to be. Well my ticket has a seat number on it.....which I'm going to ignore if it's not in the back row, so I can stand up for the whole game.
  17. Just woken up. Had a crazy dream that some folk were wanting to re-sign Sean Welsh.
