  1. Hahaha that's rich coming from an obsesive tink Jog on back to your cooncil dump will you
  2. This inverness tink we seem to have adopted within The General Ross County Chat Thread, he does seem a little obsessed. It's quite cute, well it might be if it wasn't a dirty ******* dump dwelling tink!
  3. Well whoever they were they were redundant both prematch and after the game.
  4. The bbc radio Scotland didn't have a reporter at in Perth last night! They confirmed the line-up in 30 seconds prematch then had someone hold a microphone in front of either manager for a minute each after the game, THAT was it, effin ridiculous coverage to what was an entertaining game. It sounded like there was a full panel along the road to cover the arse of the dundee derby but they couldn't afford to pay one reporter to be at Perth!
  5. A home match against Ayr is probably as good as we could have hand picked, they'll be a good game but one I'd expect to qualify from.
  6. Really happy with this but I'll believe it once it's all been confirmed.
  7. Looks like De Vita to me, don't think there's any doubt about it tbh.
  8. We drew 1-1 against Blackpool this afternoon. Graham put us one up with Blackpool equalising late on.
  9. Why'd you not just theive it, like an inverness tink, from some poor buggers washing line, the same as your first team??
  10. What's his chances of a contract, that'll be a couple trialist games he's played for you guy now, has he done okay? Last time i saw him play for st j's he looked a bit heavy but still a steady right back.
  11. I can appreciate that some would want him back, as there is a good player in there but the wages he was meant to be costing us doubled with the fact he was pretty gash (like most of the team before February) then was at best a backup player once we did start to get going, meant he was never going to come back on a permanent contract.
  12. It seems Johan's dodgy hip has meant his deal has fallen through, for now anyway. Darren Holden has claimed what was potentially Cruyff's number 14 shirt! It's still looking good for Mr Fabian & Mr Gerd...
  13. Nice volley. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QhwUYsKf4s From the p&j Ross County have signed Fleetwood Town midfielder Stewart Murdoch on a two year deal. The 25-year-old midfielder graduated from the youth academy at Falkirk, enjoying loan spells at Berwick Rangers and East Fife before establishing himself as a key man in the Falkirk first team and then earning a move south of the border. Ross County sign Stewart Murdoch Murdoch played a crucial part for the Cod Army as they won promotion to League One and then last season made a further 13 appearances for Graham Alexander while also spending time on loan at Northampton Town. At Fleetwood Murdoch largely played in a holding midfield role but at Northampton he was given the chance to play in a more box-to-box role – enabling him to score a stunning half volley shown in the video above. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/spo...lf-volley/?
  14. A midfielder, started out at Falkirk, was at Fleetwood last season. I don't know much other than that.
  15. The Songo'o of a few years ago, yes please! But have to wonder what has happened / what he's done in the last few years as he hasn't been playing football!
  16. Aye, he was a really good organising influence at the heart of our defence last season. He reads the game well, is vocal, strong in the air, and just what you'd want from a good centre half. Folk say he can play right back too but he was always in the centre for us. I'm sure he'd do a good there but at 29 he wouldn't be the speediest attacking full back but safe enough.
  17. Looks like you have altered your offer, an extra year maybe, as the p&j are now reporting that the deal for Paul Quinn to aberdeen is back on!
  18. With today's reports that Paul Quinn has turned down aberdeen, hopefully he'll sign up with us again
  19. Great news, hopefully he'll resign and captain us again
  20. ^^ I'd rather we didn't go for him tbh ^^ Any news on Durnan from QoS or has that ship sailed with dundee united seriously looking to sign him?
  21. County have done everything we could to get our stand in captain Paul to sign a new contract but to no avail. He's more a central defender than a right back but he could easily provide cover but pace may be an issue for him to play rb on a regular basis. He's experienced, vocal and a leader on the park, he organised and sorted out our team as a defensive unit. Whether you are seriously looking at him as an option or not I'm not sure, it could well just be agent talk to get DU or some other team to cough up a few extra £. He will do well where ever he goes and I for one wish him well, I just wish we could have convinced him to stay!
  22. Hi, sorry to be speculating about one of your players but if reports are right and Ross County are losing stand in captain Paul Quinn we will be on the look out for two centre halves and there's a growing clamour for Durnan to be one of them. And with McIntyre's knowledge of him it's obvious, if not yet confirmed target.
