  1. baby its alright.   Cos honey, I dont care

  2. i will see your Brechin and raise it with Elgin. Anything ever of note, other than eccie burd dancing at Ibrox.
  3. Am sure a newspaper ran this last year, but, is there an actual point to East Fife, Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath, Elgin and others? Do they really contribute anything to the Scottish game? Its not as if they produce future top league stars, and its all well saying they have xxxxx die hard fans and a tradition, but so did Woolies, JohnLewis and Prestos?
  4. Tam mcqueen is one of Falkirks best ever players full stop. A total astonishment he played for us.
  5. Ryan Donnelly is without a club. Would be a good squad player and if could recapture his Airdrie form then result !
  6. The roar at the goal was as loud as any that stadium will have heard, certainly since it was done up, it was like 20,000 people having their dream come true at the same time. .
  7. Just in, heartbroken, Falkirk had to go for it, ICT were shaking....however, classic sucker punch......congrats
  8. Sandy Roy, never forgiven for, erm, getting a huge decision correct. Hate to think of the seeth had he got it wrong !
  9. John Hughes surpassed expectation levels at Falkirk FC,. He also had to operate under the cloud of the club newly leaving Brockville, a total change in fan atmosphere and attendance levels. He was in charge yes at the sad time of Craig Gowans death. He has to take some credit for the academy which went on to produce talent, not all of which made it at Falkirk but some who also went on to other clubs. Who brought Stokes to Falkirk? If folk were really expecting more from the guy than to keep Falkirk in the top league and have a cup run ever so often, then they have ideas above their station, oh throw in the efforts he gave as a player aswell, played for his boyhood team, been written off as a manager and came back to be awarded manager of the season, I think he is to be admired. If Falkirk don't win at the weekend, I personally will be delighted for Yogi, and lets face it, "cult" hero as a player for Falkirk Houston was only really liked as such, he had limited ability and was more a token gesture player, honest and hard working enough, but not much more.
  10. Just to be clear John - no you are not in a win - win situation. The only way you win is if ICT win. You are nothing to do with Falkirk now. Sorry, John Hughes is immortalised in the hall of fame, if you were around at the start of his FFC career, the first impressions (played as a striker) were poor, however, bang, all of a sudden,as JJ's chosen leader on the park he took command at centre half and without question was one of the main cogs in the best Falkirk seasons of my lifetime. Blame him for finance issues if you want but unless you are suggesting he stole the money, IMO the fingers could be pointed at the people who handed it out, afterall, the manager actually has very little input on contract lengths etc, in most cases the agent and a rep from the club do all that, bit like when you see a house that you like and you leave your solicitor/state agent to do the rest, Yogi then kept the team in the SPL, too them to a Cup Final, and am sure anyone who met him as a fan when he played will say he was a total gentleman, to say he is nothing to do with Falkirk is trying to rewrite history, I want Falkirk to win, but they don't, then I will be delighted for Yogi, afterall to have that playing career based on attitude over ability, then bounce back to take ICT into Europe and indeed be Scotlands manager of the year when written off so much, not bad.
  11. so, both red cards issued in the SPL last week were rescinded, and the one that was missed , at Firhill, is subject to the compliance officer !
  12. Opening the stadium with a game v Benfica. Youtube some of their vids if you aint sure about them. Then, consider how enjoyable it is to watch football at Livingston, Falkirk, St Mirren, Airdrie, Clyde, or any other soulless lego box, or, you would rather be standing, dancing, singing, and generally making your afternoon at the football a day out, rather than a chore.
