LoonsYouthTeam replied to Port Talbot Loons's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
McCallum and Allan are under contract and I'm happy for them to stay. Rusty is too and I'm happy for him to stay, he may not be a workhorse but you can't argue with 7 goals in 14 games, we've only had a handful of strikers with a 1 in 2 strike rate in the last 20 years (granted it's a very small sample size, but his scoring record at Montrose and Peterhead is good). Is there anybody else under contract? Of the rest, I'd want to keep Morrison and Hutchison. If Nditi, Munro, Whatley, Thomson, Ross and Scally wanted to stay I'd keep them but wouldn't be bothered if they left, the rest I'd rather see leave -

I think he is 12 to be fair, and I'd probably be the same at that age. Somebody at the club should be having a word, but I'm not sure the board know what a Twitter is -

I know Twitter accounts are all biased and OTT but ours is outrageous. Every single decision in a game goes against us -

On the contrary, after this shambles of a season we need a big away day. -

Ray, Ray, super Ray! We're safe, but we need changes. -
Forfar might have something to say about that

Congratulations to Stenny, delighted for both Matty Aitken and Ross Meechan, Matty got a harsh time from our fans so happy to see him turn it around. Somebody like Ross really deserves this too, the hours and miles he put in when Forfar captain to come to events he didn't have to was fantastic. Even happier for the supporters. Fans of clubs at our level don't get moments like this very often, and it makes all the bad times worth while. Amazing to think a team that have been in the leagues as long as Stenny have never won a title. Nice to see a proper team rather than a cash cow vanity project win it too. Enjoy the celebrations folks!

Another interesting selection out of the tombola from Raymundo

Do feel bad for Maura, putting a loud and excitable person live on tv was never going to work, she was trying to sell the stuff. Incidentally, what kind of absolute melt actually complains to a TV shopping channel because they have new female presenters who are too loud.

I'm firmly in the Phil camp now, it's written in the stars he romps home next week. It's not been a competition for a few years so might as well have a laugh. I'd love to see a version where Karen and Sugar have to do the actual tasks, I'd like to see Brady sell a cheap tent while a Tory yells at her to lower the price every 10 seconds

Sums up my feelings too, happy for Aitken, Meechan and all the Stenny fans. We diddy teams don't get much to celebrate so hope they enjoy it, to have never won a league title is something. I've always used Stenny as a barometer for us in as much as I'm disappointed if we finish below them. I do mean that as a compliment to them as I see us both as clubs that believe they belong in League One, are of a similar size and I'm sure they'd see us similarly. Would much rather see a Stenny type win this league than a fanless cash cow.
