Fairplay to Arbroath really street smart players in which we lack, fully deserved the comfortable win.

Pathetic.
How McCabe can start himself n drop aitken beyond me, shocking team selection shocking performance, hopefully a wake up call needed that staying in this division won’t be as easy as we think.

More of a wide or central player?
Central, surprised we’ve let him go tbh always kinda stated as one of the better players in our u18s last year and featured a lot in our match day squads, just gonna assume the lad wanted first team football and perhaps not quite ready for championship football. Best of luck to him.

Don’t really care about Saturday’s game much, but if we got to the latter stages of the Challenge Cup I’d start caring, so a win would certainly be nice.
If McCabe and Telfer are ready to return it’s a good chance for them to get minutes. Good chance to give McMaster and potentially others a rest too. Think Gabby could do with the minutes as I think he’s been struggling. And I think others that haven’t played as much or are newer to the squad like Todorov, O’Connor, Hancock, McStravick could do with the minutes as well. Maybe could have some of the academy boys involved as well if they’re ready for a run out in the seniors but no rush for that. Fellows probably the closest to senior level given his involvement in pre-season.
Looks as if the boy Cassidy is preferred to Fellows now, been in the last few squads where as Fellows been in and out.

Why’s a qots fan trying to make this game a triple threat match?

Probably more than we all think as this was posted on twitter. Most, if not all probably out with our price range though.
Sam Walker, Michael Smith, Jack Fitzwater, Ryan Edwards, Jordan Marshall, Gary Mackay-Steven, Robert Snodgrass, Sean Goss, David Wotherspoon, Steven Fletcher, Alex Jakubiak.
Yeah surprised when I see that since this morning, think all of they guys would be out of our price range though.

The point wasn't specific to Wotherspoon to be fair, you could add another name in there for the idea to still stand.
I get your point, but I’m struggling to see any experienced players still kicking about looking for a club, bar wotherspoon. Would be really surprised to see any of our remaining signings be an experienced head, also wouldn’t be surprised to see Justin Devenny back.

Apparently McMaster is signed up for longer than one season (although I'm not sure how long).
I asked the question, are there others signed up for longer than a season. And was told yes. But wasn't told who. Personally I don't really get why the Club are so tight lipped. But good to hear McMaster is signed up.
Yeah very possible mate, so weird why the club are so quiet on how long players are signed up for, apparently Josh Rae signed a contract extension midway through last season because the club got him through his shoulder operation but again nothing was announced.
What I’d heard on McMaster was they were trying to tie him down to 2026 but obviously willing to sell on next summer, confidence there that they can get more for him than Devenny!

Paying a fee for a youngster speaks volumes about the expected potential he will bring. Excellent stuff.
Absolutely, and if no one’s spotted it yet it’s another one of Jackies boys.

The first player we’ve paid a fee for since… checks notes, Jonny page
Here’s hoping he’s better than him!

Excellent win considering we weren’t at our best, McMaster n Aiken brilliant in the midfield really stood up in the 2nd half, hopefully contract talks are already underway with McMaster
As for signings I think the fans better get used to McCabe and Airdries way forward, I’m expecting another couple of signings in the next week but don’t count on them being over 20!

I think the fee was around the 150 mark which if true is remarkable business, couldn’t agree to get him back on loan though.
Hearts want all of Connor smith wages covered which is close to 4 figures a week, not sure if we’d spend that kind of money on one player.

Never a foul on ATS for Murray’s goal, bullied of the ball, got to be stronger there. Hope the boy Hancock gets a start next week.

Strange feeling fairly positive after a defeat, great fight back after a bad first 10 mins. County are a gang thought gal did well up top himself Mcmaster outstanding!
Dont want to sound like a broken record but we have to get a winger/striker in Lewis Mcgregor passenger again today, granted O’Connor done well when he came on but we’ve got to be looking at an upgrade there. Plenty positives to take onto next week.

Whilst Accies look to have a decent squad this season and could easily win the league but would that help him get a new contract at Hearts? Even if he ripped it up there would still be doubters that "its only the 3rd level" of Scottish football and I wouldn't be surprised if Hearts played at a part in suggesting he played at a higher level.
Yeah 100% doesn't make sense for him to sign a new deal after doing well in the championship to then be loaned out to a lower level the year after.
Would be a great signing for us, would have him in front of O'Connor and Mcgregor on the wing.

Exactly the reason why I dont post half the stuff I hear, always turns out to be a half truth. I'd heard the Justin deal was done and was being confirmed this week, its now Thursday and nothing, although I was talking to someone completely different on Tuesday night (a player btw) who told me more or less the same thing about Justin, obviously cagey to give anything too much away but described it as "the worst kept secret".
Agree about the bin fire though.
Yeah i'm really not sure what the hold up is heard a couple of weeks ago it was just about done but he was still in training with us at the start of the week.
Must be waiting on him leaving before any further incomings i.e hopefully Connor Smith.
