Decent enough pricing for cup final tickets, Main stand and usual away stand we've been given.

Without Gal in the box the defenders are picking up the loose balls and scoring because Toddy is not a nimble quick thinking box player. Earlier in the season when Gal was playing we were struggling in the final third and that is why he was not scoring as all his touches were too far from goal. We were also persevering with wingers and Hancock was not creating for him on the left. I had a look back at the CalGal Wonder goal and he has that in his locker and needs to be on the pitch.
Everyone goes on about sticking to the system but we have to get the most points on the board by getting the best out of the players we have. All credit to McCabe for trying something new against Morton and even though we lost he needs to find a new way to win games because teams have shown how to beat us now.
I think we need Frizz on the park and we need to give Gal a run so I would have a go with:
Ballantyne Watson Fordyce Megwa Hancock
Donnell Telfer McCabe Lyall
Gallagher Frizzell
Donnell and Lyall will add a bit of dig in the midfield with the experience of McCabe and Telfer running the show. This leaves Frizzell further upfield where he can beat his man in the box and the final third.
Thought the boy Donnell and Mcgill offered a bit when they came of the bench on Sat would like to see them starting.

Sackable offence if rumours are true, so he is entitled to proper HR meeting etc. As we all would be at our works.
What's the rumours?

Hancock has really been outstanding going forward so to talk about him staying at the back is a waste of his talents. Watson has 2 assists and 2 goals since Megwa went back to Hibs and Ballantyne scored and always looks like he can get a goal. Megwa is less potent going forward but his superpower is last ditch goal saving tackles. If he had been back for the Ayr game he may have prevented one of the goals with his ability to cover back. His timing in the tackle and in the air suggest he would be better staying back in defence and letting Ballantyne get forward. So much depends on Fordyce being fit. So many of our goals have been conceded by us pushing up and getting caught in behind McCabe and Hancock and other managers can see this and the Hearts and Ayr goals show how easy it can be.

Watson Fordyce Megwa
Ballantyne McCabe Hancock
Telfer Frizz
McGill CalGal
Agree with your team bar the front 2, wouldn't drop Todorov or McGregor just yet.

How mental is it to say that Ballantyne will likely be second choice at either right or left on Saturday! Imagine saying that sentence at the start of the season where he was universally reckoned to be our best defender
Megwa into centre half perhaps with either watson or McCabe of Fordyce isn’t fit?

Really positive signing after a poor result on sat, hopefully a big boost for a tough few games coming up.

Saw a few folk complaining about it on Facebook and Twitter, but I’m not really sure why? It was always likely to be one of Falkirk, Hamilton or Broadwood and Falkirk is by no means the worst of those three.
Don’t see what the issue is for a few reasons -
A) It’s not Broadwood.
B) Good travelling distance and easy to get to from Airdrie/Glasgow/Edinburgh.
C) Not Broadwood.
D) Good pubs in Falkirk.
E) Winning a trophy at the Falkirk Stadium will be good fun.
F) Our record there in recent years is fantastic.
G Not Broadwood.Airdrie fans complaining? Nahhhhh
My favourite complaint this week was some geezer making his point known that he won't be attending the cup final against TNS because B teams were in the tournament, don't agree with the b teams in it but not going to your teams first cup final in 16 years because of that really petty.

Quite happy with that. Not too far away and a stadium we have a very good record at (not that that counts for much here).
Just glad it's not Hamilton!

Next round is getting drawn at the Excelsior before the game on Sunday, so we will be in the hat....
What time is the draw, don't really like the draw being made whilst teams are still playing but might give us that extra incentive if we get another big draw.

What a performance, in reality it should’ve been a couple more Raith never threatened us at all.
The good times are back2 -
Good to get another signing in, you’ll never guess who is agent is tho.

Ticket prices announced, no surprise the club have increased prices for the game.

I can't really tell from that angle, but we're due one anyway for the ludicrous disallowed goal in the first home game vs. Thistle.
Swings and roundabouts eh

If the offside is given for McCabe impeding on the partick player’s view/ability to challenge for the ball when that very partick player is the one who makes an attempt to clear it then yes it would be harsh
Nothing to do with him impeding the player he touches the ball when he's offside

You’ll find that your man on the line has no problem shoving McCabe to the ground to then make a feeble attempt at clearing the ball - only to then knock the ball directly to Watson who sweeps it home. Would be a very very very harsh offside
I don't think it'd be harsh at all your either on or offside and McCabe looks a good yard offside which makes the goal even better for me.

Fair result don’t think anyone would argue with that, referee was absolutely shocking for both teams a few times we’ve had him and no good words to say about him. Good thistle support as well, don’t understand all these songs about airdrie right enough. It’s maybe the most one sided rivalry I’ve seen

McGill out for a few weeks, Gal might make the bench for tomorrow.
Hopefully get another striker in before the deadline, would just stick McGregor up top with Toddy tomorrow, can't bare to watch Josh O'Connor for any length of time.

You were outplayed and never looked like breaking us down once, watch back our first goal and see if that is total football enough for you.
