  1. Your taking things a bit seriously mate, its a football discussion board.
  2. I think when it gets to the point where you think everything thats in your head the sfa agree with. Its maybe time for a wee break. Why do you think we will lose every game?
  3. Its completely different teams with completely different players. Playing against completely different teams with completely different players. Its all irrelevant.
  4. Well yeah everyone can have an option. But the opinion Clarke will be judged on bringing in youth, and facilities?? Still not sure what that means. Rather than results and performances is a ridiculous one. Not to mention the sfa agreeing with you Personally I think Scotland and Clarke will do well at the euros. I can see us getting thru the group. And I believe we're certainly capable of that. So im not scared for him to be judged on the results, I imagine he will also feel the same. Is there maybe a lack of faith in Clarke to do well and get the best out of the team for you?
  5. I dont think this is official policy tho is it? Also it doesn't go in to detail of targets, past being a pot 2 team. So the targets id expect to have changed, saying as were past that point. If you were to summarise, its pretty much saying he is judged on results over his tenure.
  6. Do you have anything to back up that the sfa's framework for appraisal just happens to be in line with your opinion?
  7. Ok, im gonna use the Hungarian team from the 50s, and morton of 94
  8. Were not at all, were talking about this Scotland team right now. What other teams did with different players is completely irrelevant.
  9. I dont think anyone is judging Clarke on the result one one friendly game. Or that would even come in to account. You look at the results on the whole. I dont care about facilities or if hes brought young players in, anyone could do that. Its wether hes winning games or not.
  10. I dont know, id say even if we finish bottom of the group then he has still been a success. Hes qualified us twice so its an improvement. But id say that would be the correct time for him to leave. But your correct its easier to get to the euros. Also its a stronger squad and team than we have had in years. What else are we to judge him on other than performance? The name of the game is to win games, qualify and then do well at the tournament. Theres no other criteria, its international football, you judge it on results.
  11. I'd love that to be the case, but I just can't see it. Hes not rated by the fans there and I expect he will be back on the bench shortly. Hes done enough this season for another good team to have taken notice and play that role for them. On the flip side hes getting enough game time to be fully match fit for us which is the important thing.
  12. Caught McTominays game tonight, brilliant performance from him. I'd like to see him move somewhere hes really appreciated tho. Dont think he's ever going to get that at Man u. I reckon he's done more than enough this season to get a good move and be playing in a position that suits him. Driving from midfield.
  13. I just got mine yesterday, looks great. Took a walk down the road in it. Everyone was loving my look and I appreciated their reactions.
  14. See, exactly as I said. McGregors place is under threat. Now look hes lost his place
  15. Well I think were all posting our individual interpretations, unless your posting on behalf of a collective Your only looking at it from one side. Look at @eez-eheez-eh's post above. Hes just invented two perspectives from me out of thin air? In general people need to chill out, its not a slight on Steve Clarke discussing the Scotland team and players on the Scotland pages.
  16. I think you might need your eyes tested mate. I've never said McGregor needs dropped. Only his place might be under threat after the euros. As for championship jobber, I genuinely have no idea what your on about?
  17. Donno man, I mean anyone offers any kind of constructive criticism they get constantly "i agree with Steve clarke and whatever he says or does" Its like a cult and makes these pages pretty dull.
  18. Yeah I remember the Leicester links as well. Its a a short career tho, if you can double that wage
  19. The McGregor reaction reminds me of that guy on YouTube with his teary defence of Britney Spears
  20. Its better to talk about football rather than childish insults. So yes its an improvement. The first part anyway. Tbh generally your posts are quite emotional and childish im perfectly happy if you wish to ignore me.
  21. Tbh this is a welcome post. Someone who wants McGregor playing but is rational. Why do you think he never left Scotland? Just out of interest? Lack of options and just didn't want to? Either way he would have been a better player for it. Could easily have seen him playing in a better league.
  22. That doesn't make any sense, but ok yes as long as he or anyone is playing international football they will be playing international football. Nothing like you said but OK.
  23. Indeed, I chose to ignore your childish comment. So when you say "He'll be a starter for us until he calls it quits". You don't mean that he'll be a starter for us until he calls it quits then?
  24. McGregor is a good player for us and has been for a while. Some of these opinions tho you would think he was a multiple world player of the year If others are doing well in better leagues then we should give them the chance. Its not about loyalty, playing for Scotland is an honour. Its about putting the best team we can on the pitch. I'd say McGregor might be under threat as a starter in the near future.
