Before that happens just wanted to say Nottingham had a good game.

Oh and on behalf of all Celtic fans I apologise for Celtic TV. It’s shite.

I like big Notts. For a guy of his size and age, he has a decent turn of pace. Certainly feel more confident with the defence when he's there

Stephen Kelly not starting here means he might be due to start against St Johnstone. Probably wishful thinking but here's hoping.

I read the first line and thought it was going to be the normal "Stephen Kelly not starting here is a shamble from Martindale... etc etc" but I agree with you... hopefully that means he's rested for st Johnstone which is a game we should have more of the ball

De Lucas had a good first half there. Martindale booting him out the team while Obileye and Nottingham were out injured cost us points. I'm thinking Sean Kelly's stinking centre back performances away at St Johnstone, away at Dundee and away at St Mirren while De Lucas was stuck on the bench. Very frustrating.

At the time he was dropped, De Lucas had been responsible for something like 60% of our goals conceded. He was dropped for a reason

I honestly don’t believe any of you would prefer to watch your teams play on artificial turf rather than grass.

Nobody has said that....I would 100% prefer Livi to play on a pristine grass pitch but I would also 100% prefer Livi to play on an artificial pitch than our old grass one. Due to weather and the layout of the stadium we always had issues with the same areas of the old pitch and the money we would need to continue to fork out would not be financially viable for us. I would also prefer Livi to sign Erling Haaland but, again, it's not financially viable for us to do so.

Celtic are playing on one this week, so need to get the excuses primed on the off chance that the multi-millionaires don't beat us on Sunday.

As for the supposed ban, it's the 10,000 seater rule all over again. There's obviously someone hoping that Livingston are relegated and with Killie due to change theirs, the top flight can pull up the drawbridge.

There was a terrific game played on plastic last night - did Kris Doolan mention the surface post match? (I genuinely don't know btw, I didn't see it).

The league had their chance to vote for a ban when Killie were relegated but didn't bother, clearly it's not as big an issue for the other teams in the league

The Livingston pitch especially, it looks even worse in the flesh too.

The main argument seems to be around aesthetics and how the pitch looks. If we can ban things because of how they look then Ibrox and Celtic park would be a lot emptier

So why not agree a spec and mandate each clubs next replacement to meet that? Why remove the ability of the clubs to make a choice because you (not you personally but you know what I mean) don't like the look of it?

We're not a multi billion pound top European League and it's time we stopped using comparisons with those to arrive at these nonsensical, self defeating decisions.

I believe Livi, Killie and Raith have the same pitch with the only difference being Killie and Raith opted for green pellets and Livi opted for black

Can confirm we've been extremely poor. Don't think we've scored a goal from open play in something stupid like 9 hours of football.

Like others, I just hope Martindale focusses on putting out our best team rather than what he believes is the best team to stop Hibs scoring.

I'd absolutely take winning games 4-3 by trying to win over losing games 1-0 by trying not to lose

Have seen Nickelback on previous tours & they put on a very good show live but the ticket prices for the Hydro gig next year are absolutely ridiculous.

£160 odd for a standing ticket with cheapest £60 odd in the 3rd tier of seats in the gods.

Chad Kroeger & co can GTF at those kinda prices!!!

I managed to get standing for about £90 in the presale. I'd normally refuse to pay that but I've never seen them before and they're on my gig bucket list.

Took in Halocene at Slay in Glasgow on Saturday and they were very good. The vocals were outstanding. Then on Tuesday I was in Edinburgh for the Darkness and it's probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. Even the support, Bad Nerves, were top listening

Weirdly, I looked into astroturf heating yesterday and there's certainly some businesses saying they can install undersoil heating for artificial pitches. Didn't check it they were UK based or anything though but as a generalisation the technology at Least seems exist.

Not saying that means "wElL lIvI sHoUld hAvE iT" not am I saying it was possible for them to have it, I just had just always assumed it wasn't a thing whatsoever but it seems it is 🤷‍♂️

Ive seen the same ads but perhaps the technology isn't compatible with all artificial pitches or didn't exist/wasn't feasible when we installed the surface

I rate him. He bursts forward really well. His winner against Hibs, the Joe Hart sending off against Celtic he caused and the penalty he won against Killie all showed that. I really value ball winners, especially in centre mid, and Sangare does that - he tackles well. His passing is decent, he can dribble and he's got a great long range shot. He wins headers. His only downsides have been an apparent lack of stamina and his defensive positioning. Both those issues could've already been well on their way to being ironed out by now had he been starting most matches. Yet Martindale has instead just dipped him in and out the team. It's frustrating how many players Martindale does that to, drops them for no reason, thus making it harder for them to build consistent form and momentum. Unless its Sean Kelly, of course, who's started each of our last 8 matches since he returned from injury.

The thing with Kelly is he's Mr steady...in terms of stats he appears to be one of our most consistent performers over the last couple of seasons and that's across a number of positions. Would I prefer to see someone else at LCB? Certainly and I'm sure Martindale is the same but I can understand his desire to have him in the team as he's a very Livi type player. Doesn't do anything amazing and (compared to other players who are playing in their natural positions) doesn't make many huge errors

I think the worst thing you have is Martindale seems tired. I thought his moaning about budgets this Summer, and trying to get anyone spending a fee on Nouble, was just usual manager speel, but looking at how he acts now is similar to how Tommy Wright was acting the window before he chucked it.

Ive thought the same this season. He comes across as genuinely scunnered this season. Not making his usual quips in interviews, barking back at fans more, repeating the same mistakes...it's not the Martindale we've been used to over the past few years. Something definitely feels different

    Thank you very much.

Yes, he is currently doing them at school which has probably spurned his interest. A practice pad sounds like a great idea. Yeah, I had a look at those mesh covers, might be an idea! I remember when I was younger my mate had a duvet in his drum to quiet the sound, is this still a thing? Haha.

The duvet in the bass drum dampens the ring rather than quietens the volume. The foam pads are a decent enough option without forking out a small fortune on an E-Kit. The advice from @cb_diamond is pretty much what I'd recommend too. Once he's properly got the bug, you could then look at private lessons where he'd learn more than he will through the school. Even online stuff like Drumeo is very good. I'd also say that jamming with friends is what brought my drumming on the best
