  1. Makes it worse that the previous update they were talking about individual players
  2. He did play him as a false 9 for a while when he scored against Celtic. His touch and ability to keep the ball is akin to Stevie Lawless in him time with us. I'd like to see us keep him for next season
  3. Lovely stuff Martindale made the right changes today and it won us the game. I know it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things but winning a game is brilliant
  4. from our national broadcaster LINE-UPS from Firhillpublished at 19:03 19:03 Partick Thistle v Airdrieonians (agg 2-2) (19:45) Partick Thistle: Hemfrey, Watson, Fordyce, Ballantyne, Megwa, McMaster, Telfer, Hancock, Lyall, Todorov, McGill. Substitutes: Hutton, Taylor-Sinclair, O'Connor, McGregor, Gallagher, Aiken, Dunlop, Donnell, Gallagher. Airdrieonians: Mitchell, McMillan, McBeth, Murihead, Milne, Neilson, McInroy, Stanway, Robinson, Fitzpatrick, Graham. Substitutes: Stewart, Campbell, Diack, Alston, Loney, O'Reilly, Ngwenya. Mackenzie, Bannigan.
  5. The wee paved area directly under the B7015 on the left side of your picture is a high school, many folk park there and head across the bridge....not inside your blue circle but its a good option
  6. I'd argue that Hopkin taking us down was a bigger case for a manager losing his job. Relegated ahead of part time teams is definitely worse than being relegated with the smallest budget in the league
  7. It used to be one of our best signing strategies but we recently we don't seem to target the young lads released by the rangers, celtic, hearts etc as much. It's something we might benefit from going back to next season as a lot of these players are often desperate to prove people wrong
  8. Yeah was quite impressed by Sean's performance on Saturday...felt he looked comfortable and his set piece deliveries were very good
  9. According to Sofascore he's scored all 4 of his penalties in the league this season and scored 2 out of 4 last season
  10. He scored a penalty for Livingston....if that doesn't warrant POTM then what does?
  11. If you want to get specific....Anderson is shorter than both of them...Murray is actually (according to different online sources) 6ft tall...so County had more of the "basketball type player"
  12. We started the game with Bruce Anderson, Scott Pittman, Stephen Kelly, Jason Holt, Jamie Brandon and Dan MacKay who are all under 6 foot. Only our back 4 and keeper were over 6 foot. County had the same number of "huge basketball type players" in the starting lineup.
  13. The last few months have really highlighted just how good Callum Carson's coverage of the team was. Donnellan has been a miss and hopefully we get to see him again before the end of the season Montano is perma-injured and, as good as he's been, is one I'd be looking to offload unless we can get him on a performance based deal Penrice had an op not long ago and I'd be amazed if we saw him again outside of a cameo appearance in the last game to get a farewell Nouble wouldn't surprise me if he's gone hiding. When Martindale made a comment about some players not having the heart for it, I thought of Joel. We'll always have his first season and a half Guthrie made the bench yesterday but seems to be another who is always picking up niggly injuries Bradley....another with niggly injuries and that has impacted any growth in his performance as he's not had a settled run in the side Shinnie doesn't strike me as the type who would go hiding when needed so hopefully he can return in the next wee while
  14. Probably our least physical lineup with Anderson, Pittman, Stephen Kelly, Holt, Brandon and MacKay all being on the smaller side with Carson and Sharp off the bench being similar.
  15. or just schedule them to play 4 glasgow derbies in the first 4 games of the season....no chance of a title decider then
  16. I don't remember Stephen Robinson taking a step back when there was criminal charges against him at Motherwell
  17. Swinging at Nathan Paterson again? As boring as he was, Delle Alli made a good point saying the Chelsea players weren't falling out with each other to take the pressure penalty against Man United to equalise in the last minutes
  18. Come on man, where was the trigger warning for mentions of the mad Italian Wasn't that already answered in the press?

Never played the games, purely because I've never been able to get into first person games, but I've always been interested in the story/lore so I was delighted to see this was going to be made. About half way through the season and it's brilliant fun
  20. I'd heard a rumour about a physical altercation between Martindale and one of the young players...assumed there was nothing in it as I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else, but since then there's been no sign of Ledingham, Stenhouse (out on loan now) or Sharp
  21. Hope next season all the pitches are like Dundee's Aye, maybe (MAYBE) the goal difference might not be as bad....saying that...he's rarely impressed when he has had the chance this season. Not combative enough
