  1. Folk in cars, particularly those in huge Range Rovers, scared of driving through wee puddles. If the water isn't up over the kerb then it's only a few inches deep.
  2. Just before half time I was thinking I'd seen this sort of match plenty of times before at Livingston. Pretty untidy with hardly any chances and it looked like one goal might settle it. The sending off changed that and we were well beaten. Could have done better at the goals but it could have been more. I was impressed by Mackay on the right wing, you don't see many players taking on people like that and it resulted in Spencer (then Gent) having a torrid time.
  3. The folk that supply your pies have been providing us with some of these pies as well recently and someone involved has been posting on our thread. He posted saying he thought the pies were only going to be available in the home end but I'm pleased to say he was wrong. Fair play to Livingston for the free hot drinks and also to the stewards for opening up another section to allow folk down the front to move to avoid the rain. Plenty of clubs wouldn't have done that (I'm looking at you Hibs and Hearts).
  4. Scratch that, they're selling them to away fans after all.
  5. They're quality. Shame I'll have to wait for the next game at Fir Park by the sound of things.
  6. I assume any problems with drainage will be down to the layers below the pitch and the drainage infrastructure, all of which should be designed for significantly greater rainfall than this.
  7. Was that a one-off or do you have a history of call-offs with drainage problems? Expecting lots of games to be off to be honest. Edit: Livi La Vida Loca has pretty much answered while I was posting
  8. Mrs. McSquackle and little Miss McSquackle seemed to be more keen than me for me to go to this. Something to do with them going shopping so I've bought a ticket. Always a tough place to go and, although we've been playing well, my hopes are tempered by our lack of a killer touch. 1-1 draw for me.
  9. Chrome worked fine for me. That was my assumption too. The link on the Motherwell website takes you directly to the away tickets - there wasn't any other option for me and I was able to choose between adult, concession or kid's ticket. £17 seemed a bit steep for an OAP I thought but I'm not used to buying them as my dad doesn't go to many away games.
  10. There's that many of them, it'll probably just be like a small lottery win each. Except they get it every year. I'm not sure what the furlough fuss is about though. If they had their staff on furlough, are they not entitled to it the same as everyone else?
  11. I just got mine and, as Ropy said, went through the Motherwell website without a problem. One thing I did notice is, you have to click on the word 'online' which is only a slightly different colour from the rest of the text so it's quite easy to miss the link.
  12. Well, this thread's taken a bit of a turn. Probably more 'discussion' of issues over a fire exit than the actual game. I'm away to look at tickets for Livi on Saturday. Or maybe I could just ask my dad to open the fire exit to let me in.
  13. Driving back from the Motherwell v Celtic game on Saturday, I heard Kenny Miller say it's important Rangers get a win against Aberdeen. Really? Who is it important for? Fine to say it's important for Rangers but it's important for Aberdeen that they get a win.
  14. It would be massive for McIntyre if he ended up seeing it out for the win but hopefully this slight shift in momentum means it won't come to that.
  15. Could it be something to do with who they played for? McCulloch's Motherwell and Kilmarnock's links for instance.
  16. Obviously the standard of our forwards has been apparent in the last few games but what really stood out for me today is our lack of depth in midfield. Our only option off the bench was Davor when we desperately needed fresh legs whereas Celtic were able to swap round players on a like for like basis. I know we needed to balance the books but the squad looks a bit, well.... unbalanced. Are we going to need Butcher in there when suspensions (looking at you Slattery) and injuries kick in?
  17. Someone had taken a bad turn in the Cooper at the end of the game and was getting medical treatment. The players were doing their best to get more assistance over. Hopefully he's OK.
  18. You're surely not suggesting signing Nathan McGinley smacks of desperation are you?
  19. What's the deal with these loan transfers outside the transfer window? Are we allowed to put players out, just can't bring them in?
  20. I'm probably being incredibly naive but I'd like to think VAR looking at the incident again would see it for what it was, a nothing incident.
  21. Ah, that was the penalty claim. Nah, not having that. Don't really see Tavernier doing anything and I would have been livid if that was given against us.
  22. We've only had a positive goal difference on a handful of seasons in the time I've been watching Motherwell so it's no surprise that we've got an overall negative goal difference. We have conceded more top flight goals than anyone else though! Oh well, it's better than losing goals in the Championship or League One as a good number of our peers have.
  23. I've not seen anything from today but I've not been the only one to comment that Mugabi can be really good when he gets a run in the team. Unfortunately he has a few errors in those first few games before he's up to speed.
