Going by the responses, that's in Pittsburgh. I'm quite impressed they're serving Brewdog Elvis Juice.I’m fully onboard with Kim Jung-Un destroying the west.

Waiting on the in-laws, testing my new tankard! Happy Christmas everyone. [emoji482]

I get all chat about waiting for a bigger and better deal from England (that was my first thought too) but I can only assume he's not looking to move and having a settled family life is a big part of how he's felt recently.

Had he not previously made a lot of having a settled family life and that was a big part of him feeling "at home"? In which case Utd are probably offering him the best deal he can have without him moving.

What sort of figures are you hearing? A 3 year deal on much higher wages is not to be sniffed at, just thought he could have got much more in England but maybe he doesn't fancy upping sticks.Do I want Tony Watt at Motherwell next season? Yes.
Do I want Motherwell to pay Tony Watt what Dundee Utd are allegedly paying him? Absolutely fucking not. It's mental money to be offering an SPFL Premiership player at our level, but fair play to them. It's a statement of intent from them getting the league's current top scorer.
It's a fair gamble as well, though. Watt has had more clubs than *insert random golfer here* and there's a very valid argument to say that the only one he's exceeded expectations at is Motherwell.
Whether he goes to Dundee Utd or Scunthorpe Utd, I couldn't give a f**k what he does after he's a Motherwell player. I'll thank him for his excellent service and we'll move on to the next one.0 -
They must be offering him some deal if it's true. Doesn't make a lot of sense to sign a PCA straight away when he has months to see what his options are.

What's it got to do with them?Bid to postpone rejected. f**k the SFA0 -
Would we be allowed to fall asleep in our seats? Can I bring Baileys in this scenario?0 -
I was buying a ticket from the self-service machine for my local journey and my daughter commented on the price of a Glasgow to Dundee ticket on the home screen. It was something like £44 for a return ticket.Yeah I live 80 miles from London and its dear to go to London on a Whim. At least £40 return on train. Trains are every half hour. You can get advance tickets for £6 each way but you need to catch a specific service which is not ideal on a day trip. I dont think Glasgow to Dundee fares are much cheaper TBF, which is similar distance.0 -
The main award is the result of a vote- is the team award also a vote? If so, then it's hardly a surprise.

A few months ago I don't think any of us would have thought we'd have been looking at this transfer window more with a view to shipping players out than bringing them in but it looks as though that could well be the case.

This picture is now on the forum Premiership page on the app and absolutely stands out for the tremendous shot that it is.
I was sent this earlier.
I’m probably in the keep Roberts camp. You just never know who Grezza has lined up though.0 -
Cheers, thanks. I'd be surprised if we decide to extend his loan beyond January. Surely someone else can come on for those last 5 minutes when Woollery is knackered. I suppose the question is who plays if Woollery is unavailable and can we bring in a better option to Roberts?

I thought Roberts was on a season long deal?Aye. I really hope Donnelly's (knee) doesn't fall to bits after getting his 90 yesterday as much for him as having functioning knees is a good thing but also yesterday was a nice reminder that he's a good option to have around the squad and it'd take a bit of the weight off Slattery.
As far as January goes, for me it's really a question of specific depth.
Like, we don't really have an alternative to Goss and the specific role he has - and as wild as it feels to say this, he's a big part of making the midfield work at the moment. O'Hara's not that type of player and from the bits and pieces I've seen of Tierney he's not the same sort of 'foot on the ball' midfielder either.
Same with the front 3 - though Woolery has made that shirt his own Roberts' loan is up and the bold Justin doesn't feel like someone that we could chuck into the starting XI at the moment without seeing a drop off.0 -
Pretty much how I would have summed it up - thanks for saving me from typing it out. I don't have any real gripe with St. Johnstone (there are other teams I'd much rather go down) so this isn't meant as a dig, they were tidy enough at times but just seemed severely lacking up front. They liked a bit of punt and chase or long diagonals and it caused us a few worrying moments but we adjusted, got to grips with it and they strangely persevered when it wasn't working. The difference in guile in the forward lines was striking (no pun intended) and probably explains the difference in league positions.I had the fear about today. Generally in the last decade St Johnstone have been a right pain to play, especially at Fir Park.
And as an unbiased view I actually thought they were OK 1st half. Had a lot of possession and a lot of that was in and around our box. There were times where a bit of luck would have presented an easy chance or tap in. We got lucky on a few occasions.
I never actually thought we played that well up until the 2nd goal went in and we relaxed and started to play some decent football. By that time there was no way back for St Johnstone and it was easy to see why they are bottom and struggling to score goals.
We play Livi, Ross C and St Mirren next and you know they will ALL be tougher games. That is the worry for St Johnstone.

I'd agree he's moved ahead of Crawford and Grimshaw but ( this isn't meant as a criticism of Cornelius per se as the whole team seemed a bit off it) I thought our midfield struggled to get on the ball for long spells yesterday.

But it won't count in the record books. At least you saw him score.0 -
Loves a slide tackle does Big Sol.Big Sol looks like he's going to a very good signing. Thought he was excellent today again.0 -
Is anyone else a bit freaked out by Rory Loy's lack of ear lobes?

Lovely day for a game of football. Can't believe the difference in weather- coming through on the train, the visibility in Glasgow was dreadful.Sun splitting the trees.
One team 5th, the other bottom, you'd feel confident normally but Dundee away was only a few weeks ago0 -

Cornelius was alright at Hibs but I'm surprised that it's Slattery that drops out for Donnelly. Can only assume he's maybe got a knock. If Donnelly is fully fit then a midfield of him with Goss and Slattery would have been interesting.
Maguire misses out completely- is he injured or suspended?0 -
What's the weather like in Motherwell? In my part of Glasgow visibility is about 50 yards because of the fog. Not quite as bad as that game at Kilmarnock a few years ago but not far off and only going to get worse as it gets dark.
