Lewis Grabban scoring the winner for Forest against Arsenal. I felt ancient when they called him the veteran who will be 34 on Wednesday.
I certainly wouldn't have predicted his career from his handful of appearances for us.1 -

Big guy, wee bit about him, reckon DC could get a tune out of him. Would like to see us try and get him or Connor Shields in. That kind of player.

Not that I think there's any chance of any of them being involved but surely if you see Motherwell as best value at 250/1 you'd be better with Aberdeen or Hibs? Both listed at 500/1 and both below us in the league table.While I think the last day's results weren't added in, it still shows the two classic paths to relegation. A Hamilton bumping along the bottom for most of the season, meanwhile Killie did their dying swan act.1 -

Family whisky tasting tonight. Blind taste and try to identify which is which and then rate them in order of preference. Spectacularly wrong as every year.
My favourites were the two Caoil Ila's (James Eadie and First Cask) but what surprised me was that I really like the Ben Bracken 18yo but all three of us put it in last place.

I'm away to Argyll for a few days so starting off with a pre-dinner Vital Spark from Fyne Ales. Lovely and rich. Hitting the spot, just need to get the fire lit now.

I've heard so many good things about Overtone I thought I'd treat myself. Having a can of Weegie, a pretty good Neipa but not convinced it's worth £4.50 compared to other similar beers available.

It was just putting a name to a Club X in a hypothetical scenario. I don't think anyone expected the resulting discussion to become so involved - it wouldn't surprise me now if it comes up as a suggestion on Kilmarnock's thread!Yes I posited a scenario or talked bullshit as you suggest.
You could have suggested Falkirk (ignoring the two division drop) - their fans seem more likely to get worked up about a possibility. [emoji16]

Am I right in saying that technically he has only agreed with Utd to sign a PCA as he can't sign it until January? Anyway, I assume we can't send him out on loan without his agreement even if we were allowed to.

I've never really tried much Campbeltown whisky despite being a regular visitor to that general area but I've heard great things. The Springbank Hazelburn hasn't let me down - wonderfully smooth.

Decided to start on my Christmas haul tonight. 10yo Hazelburn from Springbank stands out but I've started on the Tullibardine Sovereign - better than I expected, quite sweet and smooth.
Eta: seeing as I'm a part owner of the club and Tullibardine are Motherwell's official whisky supplier, I feel contractually obliged to say this is wonderful, like all their whisky.0 -

I went out a few days ago onto the road leading to the main road. I caught up with someone who I thought was going really slowly but it was because the guy in front of him was driving erratically - slowly and weaving across the middle of the road. The guy in front of me overtook him (was lucky as he swerved across the middle of the road) but I held back as was a liability. He must have been steaming (it was midmorning) or taking a bad turn (giving him the benefit of the doubt), drove in to the kerb at the side of the road when he got to the T-junction. Fortunately I was going in the other direction.
