  1. [emoji1] I don't actually remember that. It probably helped that Randolph was outstanding for us.
  2. I was at a family gathering last night and tried some alcohol-free beer as I was driving - Hawkshead brewery's Helles lager and Punk AF. I've always found alcohol-free beer to have a really bland, insipid taste and then think I'll not bother again. Then more come on the market and I think they 've maybe improved so I'll give it a go. Unfortunately these were no exception and I'm probably back to standard soft drinks for driving occasions. Has anyone found some alcohol-free beer that actually taste like decent beer?
  3. I watched the highlights on Sportscene this morning and they don't really show how much we should have been out of sight before that injury time stramash. They didn't show either of the close-range first half chances that fell to Mugabi and Donnelly that were so close to going in or O'Hara's second half shot that skimmed the bar but they did show other chances for both teams that weren't as close. Strange editing. At the time I did think Efford did look onside for his disallowed goal but Aberdeen had a strong spell after scoring. What surprised me was they then seemed to change their style to try to break up play at any opportunity which, if anything, took the momentum away from them when they could have gone on and sealed the game. They were even time wasting blatantly after 21 minutes which surprised me. Who was the first player up the stairs that gave a bit back when being given stick from the fans? Difficult to come back from that as a player although he might get a bit of a clean slate under the new manager.
  4. I'm just back in the house- has the game already been on Sportscene?
  5. Surely Samson wouldn't have been any worse? Well, maybe that's pushing it.
  6. He was sort of right! Must have been looking into his crystal ball. Pitch looked fine before the game but the downpour at the start has left it a bit water-logged in places. A relief to get that goal on the stroke of half time having missed the target twice from about 2 yards
  7. That looked a really tight offside decision and then we didn't bother defending the cross into the box. Free header, easy goal.
  8. I'm slightly bemused by Glass's comment on the radio about the pitch not being suitable for football on the deck. Getting excuses for hoofball in early? We don't bother making excuses for our 'style '.
  9. You must have a great taste in clothes though (let's just ignore that brown strip). Anyway, a bit stumped after my second line but I got there. Wordle 238 3/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833]
  10. Gun Toting Nano Penguin from Drygate. Nah, not for me. Disco Forklift Truck works with mango, but peach doesn't do it for me. The Jura Winter's Edition on the side is lovely though
  11. Freak Aleworks' Phantom Pale Ale from Aldi. Perfectly fine but nothing special. Accompanied by a Tullibardine Sovereign for a wee hauf 'n hauf.
  12. El Perro Negro Classic Pilsner from Williams Bros. Not getting the Seville Orange but still very nice.
  13. Wordle 237 4/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833] I'm a bit disappointed to see 4 guesses has now crept into the lead. How do you share your stats and not just today's result?
  14. Wordle 236 3/6 [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] I had to stop and come back to it as I really couldn't think of a word to fit based on what I already had.
  15. It would be a hell of a lot worse if we were playing like this and losing millions.

  17. Did United themselves not have a run of players they were able to sell for good money around the time of Armstrong, Mackay-Steven, Gauld and Robertson?
  18. Woohoo[emoji2] I'll take that with a lucky first guess. As Wordle says, magnificent. Wordle 234 2/6 [emoji833]
  19. I remember we were allowed a vote as to whether we should move from the Cooper Stand to the main stand for Skippy Sunday so they could fill it with Celtic fans. We voted no and stayed where we were. The first game of the next season was against Celtic- we were moved to the main stand despite the previous vote. It took a long while to get some level of trust back.
  20. I remember seeing adverts for it at the football, Hampden in particular. This was a good while back and I've been told it was gut rot.
  21. Happy enough with the split. We'll save reconstruction for when Motherwell are getting relegated.
