Something about him scoring against Aberdeen and parting the red sea. Dunno, haven’t quite worked it out yet but I’ll have some excellent bible themed patter ready for next season.
He's going to lead us to the promised land (of the top six).

You wonder if opinions would be different if someone photoshopped the strips.

The media was quite happy to pin that one on Motherwell supporters.

I was talking to my dad the other day about Spittal and he's definitely another player that's improved in his time with us. I remember being fairly underwhelmed when he signed but his range of passing and the goals he's been scoring this season have been incredible. No idea if it's down to Kettlewell or if we've just been lucky to get him in his prime.
As for OF fans in the Cooper, I sit up the back where it's fairly busy with regulars and wasn't aware of any Rangers fans in the play-off. There were plenty of Celtic fans on skippy Sunday but mainly down the front.

Most of our recent games there have been draws but the last win was August 2021. Grimmy's only goal for us.
Of our last 10 games at Livi we've won 3 (one of those was in the Covid season), drawn 4 and lost 3.
Thankfully I can now cross Livingston off my short list. The Chicken Balmoral pie was braw too.

Cheers- I wasn't at that one!

In fact - the only ground I've seen Motherwell at but not seen us win is Station Park - Forfar put us out the League Cup on Penalties when Butcher was manager IIRC and that was my only visit.
I saw us draw 0-0 at Forfar on the last game of the season when we'd just won the First Division. I've no idea if I'd been there prior to that.
I've just remembered being at a 1-1 draw at Boghead when, I think, Shaun Teale equalised. I've seen us win at Dumbarton's new ground since but Boghead might count.
I'm only including Scottish grounds as Motherwell have lost every away European tie I've attended.

I can't actually remember Motherwell winning at Livingston and I'm not expecting that to change on Wednesday. There may be other lower league venues from the early 80's that I have no memory of but I've seen us win at all the top flight grounds apart from County (which I've never visited).

Hart shouldve been replaced in the Summer.
Celtics laziness in terms of recruitment fucks them constantly but then never seems to change. Even under Postecoglu they just let him sign whoever he wanted even if they were shite.
What sort of board sanctions some signings but refuses others based on their opinions over the manager's?

If there is investment from someone with no previous connection to the club, the strings that come attached will be the main thing that I would base my decision on. The idea that we would move away from majority fan ownership and then be left in a state in 5 years where the investor walks away and we are left holding excessive debt that was run up during their time would be absolute non-starter for me. I would genuinely rather us relegated while living within our means and fan owned than spend money we don't have and end up a basket case as were a number of years back.
I simply don't buy that Motherwell is an investment in the real sense of the word - short of them keeping all our transfer/development fees and us getting lucky with another generation from the academy, the idea of getting a return that would make it worthwhile is fanciful. So if it's going to be a rich guy playing FM24 or even someone who is genuinely just chucking a few quid in for philanthropic reasons - they do it with their money and leave the core of the club in the state they found it.
Absolutely. I'd rather have a club to support in the Championship than no club at all.

For what it’s worth, I thought that boy from Sheffield United looked utterly bollocks against Morton.
I thought that as well but didn't want to say anything as I'd quite rightly be told he'd had less than half a game of football. But if he's buggered off then he's fair game!
Completely one-footed and wanted to beat someone several times so he could get it back to his left.

Just getting the first Yogi Hughes mention in before anyone else
When you say "the first Yogi Hughes " do you mean the one that played for Celtic in the 60's?

You’ve got to have a dream, if you don’t have a dream then how you gonna have a dream come true
On the other hand we’re now stuck between the implausible dream of closing an 11 point gap on Celtic and the utter nightmare of blowing a 14 point lead over Killie
Wish us luck
You need to keep this chat for when you play St Mirren and you can get a contribution from Captain Sensible. That will take discussion to another level (not necessarily higher).

I clipped a GIF of it but it's so low res it's not really worth posting.
The highlights of the game are here though and the wee man scores both.
Cheers, proper strike partnership's goal. Wee Dougie loved a goal against the Old Firm. Almost as many as a Softie o.g.!

Is that Tommy Coyne and Paul Lambert either side of a guy I don't recognise?
We AreNot amused.
We need someone (with better technical skills than me) to post a clip of that goal against Rangers (in their lilac strip) where Coyne plays a first time ball across goal for him to knock in.

The same mob who wanted to join the Scottish Cup. They have a hard-on for their northern neighbours, clearly.
Doncaster was ceded to Scotland in 1136 by King Stephen and never formally handed back. I think that was the gist of their claim.

I believe they don't want to pay for the policing they would have for the men's games.

Rangers cancelling the tickets for the Celtic supporters for their upcoming SWPL game due to a 'risk' group of supporters attending. I'm not sure what is more tinpot- cancelling the tickets, a group of fans attending a women's game intent on causing bother or their inability to deal with them.

Motherwell are at Tynecastle tomorrow and have Celtic at home next Sunday. Difficult fixtures after that as well - not many points coming our way for the foreseeable. Too many draws and not enough 3 points taking its toll (not being able to see out a 3 goal lead certainly doesn't help).

Motherwell are unbeaten and that's half the problem - too many draws,

Run of the mill Rangers win or 6 goal thriller with VAR controversy (which they love). It's obvious isn't it?

5 CMs and 1 CB. Yeah it’s great
So our midfield will be over-run again like the last game against you?
