When I first saw him in that Hibs game it was obvious he could be box office when in the mood and he had a certain air of unpredictability about him. What I would have predicted though is that he would have picked up regular red cards and I'm amazed that he hasn't. For all the daft bookings he's picked up, he seems to know how to just stop short of a second yellow.

The Big Relegation Thread
Archie McSquackle replied to Lex's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Nah, they play Motherwell at home next midweek who will have equally downed tools by then. If they're going to win a game, it'll be that one. -

OAM an absolute nonsense there. Announced VAR check at Tannadice, ball looks as though it hit defender's hand, yes it's a penalty. At no point did they say who the penalty was potentially for until they said McGrath was going to take it. Even then you had to know who he played for. -
There used to be a big away car park like you describe where the training pitch is now but that was probably a long time ago. When I go, I normally park in the housing to the south of Crieff Road- you can make your way through to Broxden Roundabout when you leave without having to go onto Crieff Road. I'm sure one of the friendly St. Johnstone fans can suggest something better though.

P&B 500 Competition Launches

I've just remembered about this competition. I know it hasn't finished but am pretty sure I've done spectularly badly. Anyone think they're in the running? -
Motherwell v Killie
Archie McSquackle replied to deadasdillinger's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
The odd thing about the season was we had a forward line which could, when it got going, do some damage and that ultimately got us through the play-off in fine style. Unfortunately the performance of the rest of the team tended to only damage ourselves. -
Motherwell v Killie
Archie McSquackle replied to deadasdillinger's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
There's not been much feedback from Killie fans on here - was this a fairly typical display? Whenever I've seen Killie they've been similar to this with a battling display but a lack of creativity up front and looking to get something from a set piece. It's worked for them before but their deliveries were much poorer than I've seen before. They did improve with the substitutions and started to pass the ball a lot more but we made changes to try to nullify that so it didn't last long. I wouldn't be surprised if they've got enough to pick up enough points to stay up, particularly from their home games. -
You didn't try the "I have absolutely no interest in it" line? From chat in my office, there was one guy out of 7 of us who watched it.

What Are You Drinking ?

Botanicalist G&T IPA from Magic Rock Brewing and Masons. I'm not completely sure, I think I like it but probably wouldn't get again. -

This was the touch I was on about (thanks to well fan for life for posting in the Motherwell thread). OK, it didn’t lead to anything so I can see why I didn't make the highlights package but surely it merited inclusion in the piece on Van Veen afterwards? -
Tarts vs Hoops
Archie McSquackle replied to Henrik's tongue's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I can see why it technically should be a red but it's the softest red card I've seen in a long time. Without VAR is there really much complaint about a yellow card when it looks an unintentional coming together?
