  1. I forgot to say, last week I had one of the chicken tikka chasni pies. It was quite nice but I think it would have permanently stained the concrete, never mind any clothing, if I'd dropped anything!
  2. There was a sale by SMFC. Motherwell's statement included the lineDue to high demand, St Mirren have ceased online sales for away supporters for Saturday’s Viaplay Cup match. I just wondered why they hadn't resumed sale once they resolved any technical issues.
  3. Fair enough guys. Do you leave a gap for all games or just us?
  4. Was there ever any further explanation (other than Motherwell's 'high volume' statement) why St. Mirren couldn't resume online sale to away fans in the usual way? With Motherwell's ticket office closing at 4pm yesterday there's no way of 'Well fans being able to make a late decision when I assume there's still space available. How many does the stand hold? Motherwell said they'd sold 1300 and had 100 left yesterday morning, does it only hold 1400?
  5. You've got much more history of them than I have then. Didn't know them that well but some friends are fans and I fancied a night out to see a band. Ended up down front as there was no way I was sitting down in that rain! Missed the support but the Moretti was good.
  6. I like Moretti but in previous years they've had a few choices. You must have been there for the support because I got absolutely soaked!
  7. Why would you take a gun going for a jog? Phone, earphones, maybe a bottle of water. Gun?
  8. His dad's a 'Well fan so I assume he is as well. That would have helped when it came to signing the deal.
  9. I was hoping Biereth was going to be an upgrade on our attacking options because, let's face it, we desperately need something. I wasn't expecting that sort of performance though. On the strength of that showing we could really have something special on our hands. Now, do Arsenal have any other talented youngsters they want to pass our way?
  10. Is there not a general agreement that the club pays for any damage their fans cause? Anyway, I don't think we should over-react but, Grant Stott, Irvine Welsh and The Proclaimers, your boys took a helluva Mika'ing.
  11. He was talking about their game on Thursday at that point. I think i heard him make up the new word "dynacism" though.
  12. Beat me to it. That was an incredible performance and we were lucky it was only four. I've always thought games against Hibs are some of our most entertaining of the season with only occasional dull ones. I'm not sure we've got the attacking threat yet for this season so suspect Hibs might edge it but you never know.
  13. Yet the club regularly put out clips of the players celebrating with them after scoring
  14. That's a solid career at a good level. Not to be sniffed at and would gladly see him return. Not sure we could afford him though. Strangely, Jonathan Page seemed to be the one considered to have promise but he's had a long and much less steady career at a considerably lower level.
  15. Herons seem to be getting more comfortable around people going by this one at Firhill Basin a few days ago.
  16. That was an amazing finish to the mens' Madison.
  17. I'm currently watching action from the velodrome on Eurosport as, other than their website, the BBC don't seem to be showing anything. Surprised they don't even show a highlights of the day programme in the evening.
  18. Yes, picked up on that. A few minutes later they showed a small pond/lochan and declared it as Bardowie Loch. The footage then showed the real Bardowie Loch without a word spoken. It makes you wonder how much of the chat in the Tour de France coverage is nonsense although I have to say the coverage on Sunday was excellent.
  19. The men's road race yesterday was on the BBC Scotland channel with coverage starting on BBC 1 at 2.20pm. You wonder how many people in the rest of the UK knew they could have been watching it from the start.
  20. I trundled over Crow Road on Friday and there are a few tracks which branch off which you can stand at and you're better off on the uphill side towards Fintry. Watching it yesterday there were plenty of folk with bikes watching from the grass verges so you wouldn't be stuck for a place. Depending where you're coming from, you'd be able to drive along and park near Carron Valley Reservoir if you don't fancy going all the way over the Crow.
