  1. He gave a stunning performance in Mr. Bean's Holiday. [emoji41]
  2. Cheers. Must be costing them a fortune.
  3. Yeah, I could have been doing with a catchup- struggling to remember who some of the characters were and what they had done in the previous series. I thought the first episode was a bit dull but it's been picking up nicely in the next few episodes.
  4. I managed a 10k yesterday morning. First in a while and pretty slow at just over an hour but it's a start. Weather was ok and the sun even came out for part of it then I got caught in a hail storm for the last 500m and got absolutely drenched!
  5. On to more serious matters, tremendous garlic and coriander naan bread to accompany my malabari chicken curry tonight.
  6. A lot of lovely stuff being drunk last night, the Lagavulin and Beavertown Neck Oil are particular favourites of mine. I'm a bit concerned how DA Baracus is this morning though! I had a few of Stewart's Brewing bottles from Lidl - Big City was alright but Up State was lovely.
  7. I didn't know they did booze although there's no reason why they shouldn't, just hadn't thought about it. Is that the one in the industrial estate off Garscube Road?
  8. We'd need to find a way to sign Louis Moult just for that game.
  9. It was LogieLivi that said he is signing for us. I'm not convinced Alexander will have made up his made up his mind sufficiently for us to be signing someone like him at this stage.
  10. Scott Robinson has been left out of the Livi team today amid suggestions that he won't play again for us. A Livi fan on their thread suggests he has signed a PCA for us as part of our ongoing attempts to take their whole team. He also says they won't miss him (but they always say that when a player is leaving).
  11. Martindale being tight-lipped in his radio interview but BBC seem to think he won't play for them again. I assume he's signed a PCA and they've taken the hump but hopefully a Livi fan can clear up.
  12. Billy Dodds, Pat Bonner, Chick Young and Alan Preston on today. Could they have put together a shitier line-up for this reduced card today?
  13. That was some John Hughes love-in at the start of the programme. To be fair to them, I was surprised they started the programme by talking about today's games. Not always the case.
  14. It's a year to the day since our Friday night game against Aberdeen was postponed around lunchtime. I was due to head out straight from work to meet some mates in the pub with the plan to also return there after the guy to meet some other non-Motherwell fans. It seems fairly wild now considering what happened in the following months that we just met up in the pub as planned (which was packed). Glad we managed it actually as ended up being the last hurrah.
  15. I saw her previously on AVFTT and she's an impressive and interesting character who obviously doesn't stand for any shit. I thought she asked a perfectly valid question, was given a reasonable response and she seemed to accept it with good grace.
  16. Not heard of this. I assume you've to get it to the garage for them to repair at their cost?
  17. If the three clubs you mentioned sorted themselves out and were challenging along with you, you could have some pretty big games with cracking crowds. Or it could all fizzle out.
  18. I remember folk being pretty much carried onto the buses at Fir Park. Not a good sign!
  19. Did it in Nancy but not Odense. Think we were quite settled in the pub.
  20. We completely underestimated the time it would take us to walk from the centre of Odense to the ground and were running pretty late. Fortunately some locals on their way to the game pulled over and offered us a lift - nice guys the Danes! If you're going to lose 2-1 in an away leg then a top-corner free-kick in the last minute to make it 2-1 is probably the best way to do it. I also did the overnight bus from Fir Park to Dortmund - for all the complaints about budget airlines they're a hell of a lot better than being on a bus that needs mopped out at Dover.
  21. Whatever it is, it's delicious. I was fortunate that one of my local Lidls still had it in stock when everyone on here was reporting it sold out and I picked up a second bottle. Maybe the more expensive bottles take longer to sell in Possil.
  22. What if they send Chris McLaughlin along to do that coverage?
  23. To be fair to him, Durrant didn't even protest. I'm not sure what that look on his face is though. Bewilderment? A slow dawning of what he's done? I don't think any referee could have not given that. The commentator wasn't half laying it on a bit thick at the beginning. Richard Gough biting his lower lip.
