  1. I've added results grids and League Cup results stretching back to the late 1980s. Unfortunately, the further back you go the scarcer the reports are, but I hope that over time, and with some help, the many missing gaps will be slowly filled. Scottish Women's Leagues (sfha.org.uk)
  2. I've continued to research this and now have many of the results going back to 1993 and hope to upload this to the sfha site in a week or so as it still needs some editing. In the meantime, here's an updated list of Scottish Women's champions up to 2002.. Scottish Women's FA League Division 1 1972-73 Westthorn United 1973-74 Motherwell AEI 1974-75 Motherwell AEI 1975-76 Edinburgh Dynamos 1976-77 1977-78 1978-79 1979-80 Motherwell AEI 1980-81 1981-82 Motherwell 1982-83 Dundee Strikers 1983-84 Allanton Miners' Welfare 1984-85 Whitehill 1985-86 1986-87 Dundee Strikers 1987-88 Stewarton Thistle 1988-89 1989-90 1990-91 Inveralmond Thistle 1991-92 Inveralmond Thistle 1992-93 Hutchison Vale 1993-94 Hutchison Vale 1994-95 Hutchison Vale 1995-96 Cumbernauld United Scottish Women's FA League Premier Division 1996-97 Cumbernauld United 1997-98 Cumbernauld United 1998-99 Cumbernauld United Scottish Women's League Premier Division 1999-00 Stenhousemuir (NOTE this was Cumbernauld Utd under a different name, therefore a fifth consecutive title) 2000-01 Ayr United 2001-02 Kilmarnock

    The Walking Dead

What gets me is the snail's paced episodes that have dominated the series for the last 6 or 7 years despite all the criticism
  4. Another Netflix elastic series. I've saw this featured on a number of real crime Youtube channels, Mr Ballen for example, and they all relayed the entire story in about 20 minutes.

    30 Rock

Brilliant comedy. I'm surprised not everyone has seen it!

    Father and Son

There was a dispute amongs the Juveniles in the early 1900s regarding age limits, the view of the Edinburgh clubs was that it was the right for a father to play alongside their son. An age limit of 27 was agreed upon at the time.
  7. I remember watching Hellraiser when it was first released and have no intention of watching 2 through to 11...
  8. I see your point, but putting these points out over three full episodes is stretching it a bit
  9. Netflix really kill the flow of a series with these superfluous episodes, parts 7, 8 and 9 were effectively unnecessary.
  10. Watching it at the moment, on to ep 7, and is well worth it. I also have to say Evan Peters performance is mesmerising.

    Scottishleague.net

The page that was showing yesterday certainly suggested that. Having been a member since 2005 my heart sank with the belief that 17 years of historical and contemporary info was lost. Phew!
  12. Anyone know what happened here? It looks like its defunct.

    Breaking Bad

I Just finished a rewatch of this and I was sure several episodes were missing, only realising that they were the ones about the German engineers in BCS! The flow between BB and BCS is seamless.
  14. I've read the main works, LOTR, Hobbit, Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. The latter two are my favourites and am seriously hoping the series can live up to them.
  15. I tried watching the first episode and it was ok, then the hobbits with Irish accents appeared and I turned over! Is it worth sticking with?
  16. Did Inveralmond Thistle ladies become Hutchison Vale ladies in 1992 and would this be likely geographically-wise? IT were reported as League champions in 1992 but I can't find a reference to them afterwards, I know HV were first division members from 1993 but 1992-93 season is being a headache!
  17. Irish Intermediate Cup finals https://web.archive.org/web/20141208052652/http://home.online.no/~smogols/ifcp/archive/intermediatecuparchive/intermediatecup.htm
  18. Spartans were also Whitehill Welfare! And Rangers began as Arthurlie, then as Paisley City. A fair number of teams started independently before coming under the umbrella of the professional clubs. A quick note re the page... the tables shown for 1993-94 should be for 1994-95, so HV's name in the winners list is one year out. I'll correct these later and I'll take another look at Newtongrange's listing
  19. I've been building a rudimentary page featuring final tables and membership lists. So far back to 2015 is more or less complete, most of the info is still available on the web, as are the top divisions back to 2009 ish. From there to 2000 meant digging into the WebArchive, some hits but a lit of misses (pardon the pun). I've used the BNA for the years before 2000 but these have been very sketchy. I have uncovered two champions from the 80s, Allanton Miners (1984) and Dundee Strikers (1983 and 1987). Filling in the many gaps would be most welcome! http://sfha.org.uk/womensleague.htm
  20. ... I still think I'll give it a miss...
  21. I earlier read a blurb about green and brown sandwiches. I think a revisit to the Odd Couple is in the offing!
  22. I generally avoid cartoons. Unless they are pre1960s Tom and Jerry, or Tex Avery
  23. The wife picked this out. I asked what it was about she got about 6 words into the description when I said Nope.
  24. 1 Brigadoon 2 Brigadoon 3 Brigadoon Etc
