  1. Not the first time I’ve heard “Thommo” accused of homophobia. I actually had to block Cowan’s Instagram. I was finding myself looking at it like some sort of voyeur. People from the BBC have to seen it as well and I can’t believe no-one has had a word with him about what often amounts to bigotry.
  2. If there's going to be 20-odd more games, would that mean they could add a couple more venues? If so I'd like to see Denver and Edmonton added.
  3. We had some stats like that for a long time. I remember we didn't beat Aberdeen until about 2008 despite being in the same league as them for about five years and getting them in the cups. It took Hibs years to win at the Caley Stadium as well despite playing there probably a couple of dozen times.
  4. Some kidnapped handicap was complaining that he caught the clap from some mousetrap he bought last night. Well I unsnapped his skull cap and between his ears I saw a gap and figured he’d be alright.
  5. People who get upset when smaller clubs get to cup finals and don't manage to sell Hampden out. I remember when ICT played Falkirk in the 2015 final, we brought about 15,000. Falkirk brought about 20,000. What we brought was roughly double our stadium capacity and Falkirk took about three times theirs. Yet some people still weren't happy. What did they think would happen? These clubs' fanbases would just explode overnight and thousands of fans would essentially fall out of the sky?
  6. This is another good one - people who feel they need to keep up with the Joneses. Perhaps they think it makes them more impressive in the eyes of those they see as above them. It's like people who insist on driving instead of using public transport or refuse to fly EasyJet or Ryanair because they think it's beneath them.
  7. I think it's still unclear. They're using world feed commentators for the WSL game today. When the Denmark-Finland Euro 2020 match restarted after Christian Eriksen collapsed the BBC used world feed commentators as well. I can imagine they negotiated overnight for the WSL but the Denmark game was only a couple of hours.
  8. There’s at least three different accents used in this post and I for one am impressed.
  9. No boycott from Paul Mitchell. What a surprise...
  10. Whatever. I hope whoever wins it donates it to the club who should've gotten it into the first place. If they don't want it maybe they can try and flog it for a grand on Facebook Marketplace.
  11. They should've boycotted the show today. I'm surprised Cosgrove has gone in.
  12. We look a lot better playing with three proper central midfielders. We were way too open with just two and it meant Duffy and Harper had a lot more freedom to go up and down. Welsh was excellent in the middle, Henderson looked really good and Mckay could still play in the Premiership. During the game and still now I felt we were a bit too late with the substitutions - Mckay and Henderson were clearly out on their feet and I was also scared Carson was going to get himself sent off. Really we should've beaten Killie by more - I know they aren't doing well this season but they looked just as bad as some of the dross we've played in the Championship this season.
  13. Surely it's long overdue that the Netherlands hosts it, probably co-hosting with Belgium.
  14. If you do a little digging on a lot of YouTubers and influencer types you find a fair chunk of them come from very privileged backgrounds.
  15. Prior to being built the Empire State Building was planned to be an airport for zeppelins as well as an office building.
  16. Hamilton Accies have brought out a new special bespoke kit for the Challenge Cup Final. And it's Joma.
  17. Post-independence referendum there was probably quite a big gap in the market for a Devo-to-the-Max!!! party. If the LibDems or especially Labour had gone for this (especially if it was involving a major rebrand) then they might've gotten a lot of traction. Way too late now though.
  18. Ukraine are out of the Spain/Portugal 2030 and Morocco are in.
  19. This election-as-a-referendum stuff and then essentially declare UDI is bonkers. It wouldn't just set independence back years, it could well kill it stone dead. UDI is essentially useless unless it's officially acknowledged internationally. It worked for Kosovo because much of the international community acknowledged it but even then it caused problems. Catalonia's was largely a disaster in the long run. Who would acknowledge Ash Regan's UDI? The UK certainly wouldn't and most likely nor would the EU or America or Australia. But who would acknowledge it? What if the UDI is acknowledged only by the likes of Russia or Belarus or North Korea? That's wouldn't just be bad for independence, it could absolutely kill it. The fact that an MSP and possible (though unlikely) next FM is completely nuts.
  20. Did I really just hear people laughing in the background at Ash Regan's answer?!
  21. This has probably been mentioned already but grown adults cycling on pavements. If you aren’t confident enough to cycle on the roads, even when they’re quiet, you shouldn’t be cycling.
  22. Graeme Shinnie is a bit of a grey area. I *think* he was originally signed under Brewster from Dyce. He made his debut early in the 2009-10 season under Butcher but I’m not quire sure how long he’d been at the club by that point.
  23. Was just talking to someone there about the last referendum and the question came up about any conservatives (both big and small c) who supported Yes. I remember Peter de Vink the former councillor in Midlothian campaigned for independence and had the largest Yes sign in Scotland on his land or something. He was expelled from the Tories and dropped as a candidate because of his stance despite fundraising for them since the 70s. Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh was another former Tory but she'd left the party years before by the time of the referendum. Were there any others?
