  1. I don’t think they’ve got anything right the entire game
  2. Should rename this ‘The Armchair Refereeing Thread’. It’s a non-stop whinge about how the refs are against us every week of the tournament. Ireland too clinical and we’ve made too many mistakes, which you simply can’t make against a team of this class. We’ve made progress, undoubtedly, but there’s still a big gap.
  3. I had no complaints with the penalty for the handball. It’s the complete lack of consistency that’s the problem. Didn’t matter the end. Stupid from Dunne as St Mirren were excellent first half.
  4. How is it that I can get through Singapore Changi at peak time with a couple of flights coming in per minute and have my bags within 25 minutes, but in Edinburgh it takes over an hour on the only flight arriving early in the morning? They weren’t even ready at the gate.
  5. Underrated - Salta. Nobody outside of Argentina seems to have heard of it, but I had a great time up there. People were great and the scenery is unique. Osaka. Not got the sights that Tokyo has and missing the traditional elements you get in Kyoto, but the people are great and a lot more outgoing that the rest of Japan in my experience. Overrated - Bali. Maybe it’s where I was staying (Nusa Dua) and I missed out on things I’d have seen staying elsewhere but I just thought it was overdeveloped, clogged up with traffic and mobbed with Australian and Russian tourists. Had a good time nonetheless, but don’t think I’d rush back. I also think San Francisco has gone downhill in recent years. I used to love it but it just felt dodgy last time I was there. Massive homeless problem, people breaking into cars in broad daylight, and dirty.
  6. Again, if Celtic fans criticise the media it’s paranoia or hysteria (I think it often is fwiw), but you lot do it’s suddenly acceptable. Laughably hypocritical, but I guess it’s easier to circle jerk and dole out a few minuses than actually make a half decent point.
  7. For me the player behind him was enough to merit it being just a yellow. Plus he clearly wasn’t deliberately trying to make a save or anything. Was harsh.
  8. Doesn’t really work here, but I applaud the attempt nonetheless.
  9. Yes, an example of a ridiculous refereeing decision. Which you claimed never go against Celtic. Just pointing out that we’re not immune to the farce that is VAR or Scottish officiating.
  10. We’ve already had a few penalty decisions against us for hand ball this season that really shouldn’t have been. O’Riley’s being particularly ridiculous. But alas, here we go with the lazy ‘old firm’ schtick again.
  11. St Mirren have been excellent. Just lacking in the final third. Pressed better than any team has against us this season and it was causing us real problems in possession for a bit there.
  12. It’s a clear penalty but that’s harsh as f**k
  13. A lot to be concerned about, particularly first half and the restarts. Can’t really complain though. Happy to finally beat the Welsh when we’re expected to
  14. We’re playing down to their level and we’ll end up losing it if this continues. Same story every single year.
  15. I fucking hate those spawny b*****ds
  16. What’s he supposed to do there?
  17. We never fail to play down to the level of this shower of shite.
  18. Got to say, I wasn’t expecting that, regardless of England’s form. Fantastic stuff. The key now is consistency. So often we fail to build on these results.
  19. That missed conversion could be a killer.
  20. I’ve got a flight to catch as I’m off to Malaysia and Thailand for 2 weeks, so I’ll gladly f**k off. Have a great weekend. I apologise if my posts caused anyone any trauma - those pesky Old Firm supporters at it again.
  21. It absolutely is lazy to involve Celtic in discussions about three awful decisions in a game they weren’t even involved in. It happens going on every game involving controversy and the Old Firm label gets trotted out instead of calling it out for it has been. I think Celtic do benefit from the crowd at Celtic Park and the pressure on referees. But the penalty differential for the last 5 seasons is something like +35 to the nearest club at +9. You can debate the reasons for it all day, but that is a significant difference, whether people like it or not.
